| I figured out how to do it with QuickTime screen recording and a whole host of sound recording software. Did a little test and my only concern is the audio isn't as loud as I'd like it to be, it's listenable but I wanna try and make it louder if I can after the fact. I'm recording it off the coachella stream. It kinda looks like 720 so it probably won't be any better than yours. Couldn't get 1080 to play cleanly off YouTube. :/

http://kroq.cbslocal.com/2013/04/15/voodoo-fest-announces-15th-anniversary-lineup-pearl-jam-nine-inch-nails-paramore/ I'm seriously thinking about going there. Pearl Jam, Gaslight, Nine Inch Nails, Alkaline Trio... and Halloween in New Orleans! Has anyone been to this festival?

If they ever play fest again, I hope they do a Sink or Swim album show. Also are the fest dates officially announced or are you just going by the date of the Florida Georgia game because that is obviously when Fest is going to be?

70 bands get announced on Saturday at 1pm. Not sure about tickets or hotel rooms. But my fingers are crossed for some Sink or Swim/Senor and the Queen/TGA to play the Fest at all.

I'd love to see it, but it would really surprise me at this point. I just think they might be Too Big For Fest. Maybe I'm overstating their popularity, but like aren't they bigger than AM or HWM at this point? I don't think fest can afford them and I dont think they'd take a big pay cut to play fest. My "Fest Fingers Crossed" band this year is the Lawrence Arms. I actually think we have a good chance at that one -- they've been playing more shows recently and are gearing up for a new album. But like, not even going to bother getting my hopes up for Gaslight this year. If it happens I'll be pleasantly surprised but I just don't see it happening.

| Wow. Set list at Seattle was painfully terrible.
I think they played one song off SoS (Boomboxes. Which is nice, but like, is no Diner or 1930), nothing off SaTQ. Probably the two worst songs on American Slang (Old Haunts and American Slang) (and only those, no counting SLY), and missed the two best songs on HW (Howl and Blue Dahlia) despite playing everything else off that album other than National Anthem. Cover song was weak (Once Upon A Time). At least they still played a bunch off T59S but seriously. Blue Jeans is only like the greatest song ever recorded how do you not play that at your show? Isn't half the point of touring to give you an excuse to keep playing that song?
I mean (with the exception of too much blood) a bad gaslight anthem song is still better than 99% of all other music, and the crowd was still fun and energetic, and they sounded alright -- I probably had more fun during the show than most other shows that I leave feeling happy, but like I donno. I but can't help but feel kinda bummed by that. Probably just let down by my impossibly high standards (or... you could say... my Great Expectations. hahaha)

| Haha it's never a good idea to go in with set list expectations. Especially for songs like 1930 which they must play 1 in ever 200 shows or something. But seriously, the only show I ever went into with setlist expectations was the only one where I walked away mildly disappointed.
But that's a bummer they played almost nothing off SOS, SATQ, or AS. That doesn't leave a lot of variety. :/

I didn't go in with expectations for specific songs (well outside of Blue Jeans). The point they played all their suckier songs. If I had gone in expecting that I don't think it would've made it any better.

Its pot luck what gets played. They keep the setlist fresh from night to night. I heard blue jeans once in 3 shows on the UK tour. They also played 4-5 off American Slang and SoS. Hang in there. You'll be very lucky to hear Diner though...

I'm guilty of this sometimes as well. The shows are great in the moment but it's hard to not be slightly disappointed after the fact when you compare the "vanilla" sets to longer, more varied setlists. I haven't experienced this as much with Gaslight but I've seen Pearl Jam a lot. It's most definitely unreasonable/unfair but at each show, you're hoping they can top their last in regards to setlist/rarities. I've been lucky enough to see some absolutely great shows from both bands but I still want to hear certain songs every night.
