| Alright, so I don't post here a lot, so many of you may not know me well, but I play guitar..and bass. And I was watching multiple TGA shows on YouTube and I've always wondered why Brian had the number '5' on his Gibson ES-335 (the blue guitar he plays). You can see it at the Reading show:

| It's been asked before. Apparently it's an Eddie Vedder thing where he numbers all of his different guitars. | |

Ed doesn't number his guitars. He has one or two that are a tribute to Pete Townshend who started numbering guitars in the mid to late 70s to differentiate his guitars by tunings. http://www.whocollection.com/pete's_.htm Brian may have copied it from Ed but it originated with Pete. | |

| When I saw him play, he had a Blue telecaster with a number 5 on it too. | |
