Oh, and I LOVE the Shinning mini show.

I loved when they referenced the Godfather. Two scenes come to mind
1) Bart working at a bar for the mafia and hitting his head on the glasses hanging over the bar, and as he hit his head the glasses clinked the theme to the Godfather, and
2) Marge kicking the crap out of someone in the exact setting Sonny kicks Carlo's ass on the streets.

Also I went around dancing to "You can't win friends with SAL-AD!" way too long after they did that episode. I think Lisa becomes a vegetarian and Paul McCartney is in it.

Favorite celebs has to be when the Who guest starred in the one where Springfield is divided by a garbage barrier. I wonder why Springsteen has not made a guest appearance on the simpsons/

Not if it's been terrible for the last 10000000 seasons. It used to be so glorious but now it's reduced to trash.

I just got the 5th season today!

I'm thinking about some awesome quotes but i only know their italian translation ffffuuuuu

Seasons 1-14 are superb. It has lost a lot of its luster, but the show is still watchable.

One of my favourite episodes is Kill Gil, Volumes I & II.
But it might just be because I was drunk when I watched it and found it hilarious..

by the way the simpsons is the only cartoon that has amazing italian dubbers, I remember reading somewhere that the american guy that gives voice to homer was extremely impressed with our "voice"! Homer and Lisa sound soooo similar to the American version. But I think for the full Ned Flanders you have to watch the American version.
