If we're including live versions that completely changes my list haha.

| Hey guys,
As Ive been in a proper Springsteen mood lately. I created a Bruce Springsteen Game where you must guess (nearly) every song he has released. i think this will test even the biggest Springsteen fans. Would be interested to see if anyone can win the game. 270 songs in 20 minutes. I hope youu can type quick. It should be fun though so have a go and good luck!! I know I can't get them all despite being a massive fan...

http://www.sporcle.com/games/jerseyrain/all-of-bruce-springsteens-songs I consider myself a huge Bruce fan and got 197. Its surprisingly tricky! Annoyed with myself for not getting: Independence Day Hungry Heart Brilliant Disguise Trapped Working on a Dream ('cause its the album title!) The rest I missed were mainly from Human Touch, 18 Tracks, Ghost of Tom Joad and The Promise. |

I got 210 but I made the game so kinda had practice already, If Id have played it first time I wouldnt have got that. Like you the albums i fell down on were human touch and the promise and it was just a few off some albums after that. Thanks for playing. the hardest part is the time. Ive taken brackets out of the songs with brackets in the titles and made things as short as possible but you dont have a lot of time to think if you wanna get em all. Im sure someone will eventually.

I was put off Paris because the tickets seemed expensive compared to the other shows. Wish I'd gone now. Least I got Prove It '78 at Barcelona 1 and Manchester - I guess that's pretty lucky too! |

| I'm not so sure about that, I love Asbury Park and the E-Street Shuffle albums, the whole r'n'b/soul vibe they have - I reckon they're very underrated. Especially ...E-Street Shuffle, I mean Sandy, Rosalita, 57th Steet .etc. What an album!
Am I the only person who doesn't get The River? Great title song obvisouly and overall it has some cracking tunes but for me it just seems to lag at times, as many average enough songs as it has great songs :/
I'd say my top Bruce albums would probably be - The Wild, The Innocent & The E-Street Shuffle Born To Run Greeting From Asbury Park, NJ Darkness on The Edge of Town The Rising

| I think Bruce's writing before he got too political is his best. The River is a good album with only the odd skipper in my opinion so Im not sure what you don't get. Maybe because its very jolly and happy for the most part but then has some really sad songs to contrast.
Recently Ive been listening to the Tracks box set again and I gotta say that if the first three discs were released as official albums they would have done just as well as the others. There are some GREAT tracks on there. Disc four is very lacking but for a few songs but I really don't understand how some of the songs in that set didn't make the albums. The ones from the River era would have fit with the tone of the album, I guess Bruce was just so prolific in those early days that inevitably some gems still get left on the cutting room floor. I love the song Rockaway the Days and Frankie is class too!
Im hoping they release anniversary editions of The River and BITUSA as they did with B2R and Darkness
