No I don't think asking for an RT is the same as asking for an autograph.

I got my question regarding the bike he posted on his personal account answered, cool!

Maybe he needed a bathroom break.

I would say that was a TMI thing to say, but now we all know what kind of underwear he wears so that just changed the boundary line.

Actually I take back the RT/Autograph comparison. I can see it.

I don't see anything weird/wrong about wanting the attention or loving it when you do get it, but I just feel the "Can I get an RT" thing is too contrived to be considered a genuine moment.

Having flashbacks of why I don't live chat anymore.

Me: Says something so f'ing important, because everything I say is important
Other person: Has been away from their computer for at least 5 minutes without saying anything
Me: Waits in case they're in the bathroom
Other person: Leaves house to go out for night without my knowledge
