Didn't mean to be harsh. That's what I get for not using emoticons, I guess, haha.

But in all seriousness, though, the Springsteen comparison is something only time can get rid of. Obviously the band wants their own identity, as they should. But at the same time, most people still haven't heard of them. So until the general public knows what they sound like, reviewers will have to do their best to explain it to them, and we all know music critics don't like thinking too hard about these kinds of things.

If you quote Bruce lyrics in your songs and perform with him on stage, there are going to be comparisons. Nothing to be ashamed of, they're probably just sick of journalists constantly asking them about it - I saw an interview from Hyde Park this year and rather than asking about their new album, the journalist spent most of the time talking about Bruce at Hyde Park last year.

It definitely comes in the lyricism and writing styles. If you look on Brian's blog, here is what he wrote about Springsteen
