Diamond & Boxer promo CD

Here is the promo CD featuring 'The Diamond Church Street Choir' & 'Boxer'.

It comes in a glossy card sleeve and only 100 have been 'pressed' for distribution to radio stations (initally just 50, but then another 50).

Rarer than vinyl ...

Thats pretty cool what astounds me is the limited nature of such recordings on CD-R but they are worth so little. Not that you are looking to sell but there are loads of shops that sells off loads of promos for a few quid each. Which baffles me somewhat in reality its no different to a limited 7" or something.

Wow. Thats almost as good as the boxer one.

I want them to do a cover like that for every song.

I don't think this is a CD-R, unlike the UK TGA promos, which look lightscribed as well. This is properly printed and, of course, has a properly printed card cover with a unique design (which makes collecting it interesting).

EDIT: At least thats what I think you are getting at. Anyway that pretty cool though thats its properly produced and stuff. Be interesting to see if there are more to come.

These have been going for alot of money of ebay...now I know why! Gonna be hard to get ahold of this one!!

Also does anyone know how many Boxer promos were made?

Hmm... Going to release a 7 inch of this as well, maybe? I don't get vinyl but I think it would be cool if they kept releasing stuff on vinyl.

Yeah I'm hoping they release both Boxer and Diamond Street on vinyl. Love the artwork for both..and both of the promos have been hard to find and/or really expensive.

I agree, the artwork is pretty slick

two of these have now sold on ebay during the past two weeks or so for about £25 each (about $40 each)

That's the dreadfully cheap UK one (1 track only). CD-R, with paper inset in PVC sleeve.

why do UK promo CDs always look so.. cheap?

I picked this two-track up for £0.99 on ebay the other week. Not to gloat but worth keeping an eye out if anyone's interested and I'll flag up any others I see.
