I'm from Mill Valley, right across teh golden gate bridge. don't worry we're playing good hockey, best i've ever seen the sharks look in the playoffs. if we keep it up, we'll be okay... i have season tickets....

and oldgospelchoir, i dont know if that was a jab at you guys beating us last year in the playoffs....

if it was, great to see you guys make it this year... oh.... wait....

and if not, right on, they're usually solid, sorry you had an off year

i wasn't taking a jab at you guys. I not a big hockey fan but being from orange county going to San Jose, its kinda hard to say that you are a Ducks fan without getting shit for it.

Yeah, I'm originally from San Jose but go to college in SB so I've only been able to make it to one game this year. But at least it was a Sharks/Stars game and Nabby shut them out!
This is the first year we haven't had season tickets *sad face* but I still rep my jersey on game days and yell obnoxiously at the TV in my rec room haha

Habs = Montreal Canadiens
Ovie= Ovechkin
Caps = Capitals

I'm a hardcore Stars fan so, yeah... I'm not even watching the playoffs really. They really fizzled this year.
I am pulling for the 'Yotes though, because 1) Dave Tippet is their coach, and he WAS the Stars coach till they unfairly booted him last year, and 2) booooo Red Wings.

Both the Coyotes and Red Wings are bringing all they've got so I don't really have a preference this year.
However previously I wouldve rather been matched with the coyotes

These playoff started out real exciting. My Flyers kicked some Jersey ass and I'm real happy bout that. There've been 2 times my friends and I just screamed in pain at the TV:
1. When Laperriere took the slap shot to the eyebrow
2. When Dupois scored the overtime goal to give the Penguins the series

I noticed a small slice of love for my Pens (thank you Jukebox) and some vitriol for them too (thank you rhg5010). The way the east is shaping up, maybe we can have a repeat champion this year. Although I think the Caps will prevail on Wednesday, there still good matchups--Boston - Pitt adn Wash -Philly.
Maybe Philly can wear down the Caps for when the Pens play them! NHL Playoffs? Icon_smile

oooooh that's cold. As of now Philly's opponent is unknown... although it probably will be Washington, it could be Boston. Somehow I think the Flyers have a getter chance against the Caps than Bruins, but no matter what, I can't see the Flyers beating the Penguins, and that kills me. You gents can revel in that.
