| Oh dang, I'd love to have been there. Brian's voice seems perfectly suited for Have You Ever Seen the Rain... and I just heard C'mon Kid on a Revival Tour CD that SideOne sent me... it's an awesome song too! | |

| Just saw Brian tonight and it was an awesome set list but the crowd killed it for me. I don't want to hear people call out song requests like it's karaoke night. No, he's not playing 1930 or freebird or crazy train. shut up and enjoy what you paid for. am i right? | |

| whole show was amazing. except for that drunk annoying dude who just kept shouting BRIAAAN WHOOOOO!!! over and over and over. and unfortunately for me he was like 3 feet away from me. but the show was awesome. someone has to make him play angels wings at one of the other shows. we still need to get a vid of that. | |

| I recorded a kinda poor quality bootleg of Brian's set (+ his set with Dave). Recorded from my iPod voice memo function haha...I'm gonna post a full review and post that in a different thread.
I also posted this:

full blue jeans and white t-shirts acoustic.

| The crowd was awful. Lots of drunk people yelling, and one guy kept trying to pick fights with people. Regardless, I REALLY enjoyed Dave's set... Brian's set was pretty lax, he spent a lot of time talking (I'm not complaining, its fun to hear stories behind the songs, and he's just a funny guy). Gauging from the other times I've seen Brian solo, though, wasn't my favorite show. The covers were great (it was funny when he did the Clarkson cover, because he forgot a fair amount of the words)... But sooo much from '59 Sound! Of course, certain songs aren't suitable for acoustic performance-- but he's done "1930," "Señor and the Queen," "Boomboxes and Dictionaries," and so on acoustic before - and they're nothing short of amazing. He also seemed annoyed with members of the crowd (well, he probably was, and I don't blame him...)
Anyway, they both performed very well & it was an awesome night... The two of them playing together at the end - GOLDEN.
They also sold a limited edition t-shirt, which I wasn't expecting.

| I really enjoyed the relaxed feel of Brian's set. He's really funny on stage, I can't wait for the Brian Fallon Comedy and Singalong tour. I think that as the Gaslight's audience grows, it will be harder to have small intimate shows, as the BRIAN WHOOO man shows. I talked to Brian before the show. He's really down to earth. We talked about other bands that we both liked, and he said that he was planning a Screaming Trees song in his set. When he played it was one of the most transcendent concert experiences I've ever had. I've never heard the Loved Ones before but I enjoyed Dave's set. "Pray for Tuscon" was a great song. And I swear my little sister was standing next to Tegan Quinn all night. | |

| Don't get me wrong, I love the relaxed feel... But, this show was "different" for me. I think its the audience... IDK if I'm alone in feeling this way, but compared to his solo shows at Court Tavern... this one wasn't as "magical." Not the fault of Brian, at all. His unannounced/"secret" solo show in August was one of the best musical experiences of my life. Only about 70 people there, the song selection was entirely by request, and its just an all-over more intimate venue.
He never fails to put on a great show, and he's just a down-right awesome guy. I tried not to let the obnoxious people in the crowd get to me, but it can be hard. I mean, "BRIAN! WHOOOO!!!" what is up with that crap?!
