My first concert was in '99 or 2000 and it was BigWig / goB / Eighteen Visions
It was a real cool experience, i screamed for Bigwig to play a Minor Threat song, so they said if i would sing it for them they would, so we did "I Don't Wanna Hear It"

seriously, that's too fucking cool!

The Darkness - Norwich UEA, UK - January 2006.

not exactly the best way to lose my concert virginity, but as they were a local band to me I for some reason decided I loved them.

Those who can't do teach. Some of my dumbest friends are going to be teachers. Anyways it's possible to learn more from a band than a teacher.

actually in every country other than the USA, teaching is an extremely prestigious profession... I would say it is the equivalent of being a doctor in most places.

agreed... except for Dennis Kucinich, he is the man!

Ha I remember once Kucinich dropped out of the 08 election I stole one of his signs and have it hanging in my room.

Pretty sure it was either Backstreet Boys or NSYNC in like 1999...not the coolest thing to admit but hey, I was like 11 and hadn't discovered rock music yet and the boys in those bands were like soo dreamy back then haha

As for my first rock concert? I think it was Blink 182/Taking Back Sunday in 2004? That, or Taking Back Sunday/Fall Out Boy in 2004 when I had absolutely no idea who FOB was and why everyone was going nuts over them.

Both in Minneapolis. I'm sure the first was at the Target Center or something. Blink 182/TBS/FOB was at the Myth I think.

does this mean that you have seen both of them live? wow... I am speechless!

I am sure they put on an entertaining show

my sister used to have a lifesize NKOTB poster, I hated it so much, their eyes followed me no matter where I went!

Yep, saw them both live. I thought it was pretty amazing as a 12 year old! Haha, I used to have a Jonathan Taylor Thomas poster that did that. Creeped me out!

first concert i made a free choice to go to was Mark Knopfler in 2008. not a huge concert goer, i've only ever seen Green Day, MK, Gaslight, Billy Joel, and Tom Petty.
