| I checked the official Gaslight Anthem site for the Dutch tour dates and found this forum while browsing the Links-page. Five minutes later I started writing my first post. | |

| Can't say I was too impressed with their support slot on the Gaslight tour. They didn't go down too well in Brighton, got quite a few hecklers. | |

| They were brilliant in London, vocals a bit too low. I heard they were good in Brighton too. You get arseholes in the crowd everywhere though.
PBC are quickly becoming a top band for me, seeing them twice in 2 days (one at a 120cap venue) has literally fucked my ears and my throat.
Can't wait for the next 2 times I see them before end of March!

| "Clothes don't play music, WEEE DOOO!!!" - from "As 'Twere the Mirror"
love that song. Most Miserable Life and Hollow Place are both pretty amazing songs, as are the others that Stalls mentioned.
also, i'd like to take this time to thank this board for introducing me to some of my new favorite artists. you guys got me into:
Against Me! (oh my god these guys are good) Polar Bear Club Frank Turner (incredible) The Riot Before (awesome) Hot Water Music The Lawrence Arms Dead To Me Fake Problems Alkaline Trio (yeah...Good Mourning was definitely the wrong place to start with this band...Infirmary is SUCH a good album) as well as several other bands I never would have heard of otherwise (Spraynard, Sam Russo, etc.)
I had been in a rift where I was listening to the same few bands over and over, tired of most of the stuff I used to listen to, and you guys have helped to completely overhaul my iPod with great, often life-changing music (AM! and Turner specifically). I sincerely thank you guys for everything. The end

| alright, story time. i don't expect you guys to read all this, but whatever.
story #1: with AM!, my friend told me to check out New Wave, he said it was really good. I had heard all the singles since Don't Lose Touch, but none of them really struck me as all that special. I thought New Wave was really good, with some great songs (Up the Cuts and White People For Peace especially), but I didn't get why everyone on here was raving about them all the time. then Josh told me to check out RAR, which is now one of my favorite albums. I've since checked out just about everything they've recorded, and they are now one of my Top 10 favorite bands.
story #2: with Alk Trio, Good Mourning is the only Alkaline Trio album I actually own. I heard We've Had Enough on Fuse and liked it a lot. I heard Armageddon on THUG, and fell in love with that song, and downloaded Stupid Kid and Bloodied Up as well. however, being only 13 or 14, I had to have my mom take me to Best Buy. I wanted to buy Infirmary, but my mom is very strict and wouldn't let me buy it cause she said the cover was scary, so I settled for Good Mourning. I had been really into skate punk, like Pennywise and NOFX and stuff, so songs like Every Thug Needs a Lady, All On Black, and Blue Carolina were nothing like what I was into. I just thought it was okay, nothing special, and it turned me off to the band for awhile. somebody on here started talking about them, and when I remembered how good Armageddon was, I downloaded Infirmary, and was amazed at what I had been missing out on. great album. Private Eye, Mr. Chainsaw, Steamer Trunk, I'm Dying Tomorrow, just about everything on there is great
okay, story time over | |

| why thank you. i like talking about them because, even if i'm not excited at all, i always include the "!" just to make it sound like i am. right now i'm on a huge Sink, Florida, Sink/8 Hours of Sleep kick, just cause they're so fun to play and sing along with | |
