my latest romance issue isn't necessarily a positive or negative romance one -- it is what it is.

i'm over bad texter and there's no more what ifs or whatever and it feels really fucking good. took me about a week to get over him and that week of meh felt a lot better than still going, "ugh, what is this?" so i think i made the right move there by just straight up asking him.

went to a barnes & noble today and just hung out in the cafe. cute guy was working there. i didn't look particularly "hot" by local young adult standards, but i worked my look cause i felt confident in it. ended up making some small talk, exchanging flirty smiles. i don't think i want to pursue anything because i really do need some time to be single and school and my job are more important right now. but damn, it felt good to know i still got it.
