| last night's show TGA recorded for X-FM will be online live at 7pm. you can follow the link below to listen to it. After that I think it'll just be online to listen to any time. http://www.xfm.co.uk/news/2009/xfm-presents-an-evening-with-the-gaslight-anthem '59 sound is their single of the week as well which is cool and they just played a snippet of Brian chatting about the Boss and how he seems more interested in chatting to Brian and finding out about them and Brian can hardly ask him anything! Anyways just thought y'all would like to know! | |

| Still gutted because I know I had two chances to be there! Don't think I'll listen to it because it will make me mad for that very reason! '59 Sound has been getting quite a few plays on XFM recently though! |

| Trust me I'm not trying to rub it in- I didn't go remember, but did have the chance to! That's worse than not being able to at all, surely? |

| Tomaldo, I really did feel sorry for you.
As for TGA not asking the rest of us along, it wasn't a secret gig as such. I asked Benny, and he said he didn't know there'd be "kids" there.

| Thanks Steady. 'Kids' ha- Typical XFM audience. Maybe it wouldn't have been the atmosphere of hardcore fans I'd expected, just people who suddenly like them becuase XFM played their record once, people who don't even know the bands name (prob. what Benny meant by 'kids'!!). Probably why I won, because they could tell from my entries I was a genuine fan!! |
