I'd rather see a The Gaslight Anthem/The Slackers tour, but that'll probably never happen.

If I'm honest, with the exception of Bruce Springsteen, I'd rather see Gaslight headline their own tours rather than open for someone else. Even though it would raise their profile, I think they deserve people paying money primarily to come and see them, not paying money to see another band and getting them thrown into the mix.

PJ and TGA would probably be one of the best shows you could put together, IMO

a lot of those have already happened or seem very likely, but i've never seen them with anyone good

Most of the bands Gaslight tours with become some my favorite bands...to each their own I guess. A tour with Pearl Jam would be cool though, I haven't seen them since the Yield tour.

My complaint would be Gaslight getting shafted with a shorter setlist / no encore. If the tour was structured to really provide two full concert experiences, I would love to see Gaslight tour with the likes of something like Pearl Jam. But if it means half the songs then no way

surely after American Slang TGA will be too big to be a mere support act

Since posting that, I saw them with The Measure (SA), The Loved Ones, and Murder By Death. I had only previously seen them with Redwater Rojo (local Cleveland band) and Good Old War. But I've really only enjoyed The Loved Ones opening for them

and Peal Jam opened for Tom Petty a few years ago.....never too big a band when you're a fan of another artist

peal jam is a GREAT band to see live. probably one of my favorite live bands. ive been to a bunch of the early gaslight shows being that I live in jersey and have to say one of the best was gaslight with the bouncing souls in asbury park.
