| Awesome band, Chamberlain Waits is a serious album of the year contender. It's great that Gaslight took them out on tour. | |

awesome show, wasn't it? it kinda sucked that i had to stand in the non-drinking section to the side, but overall it was pretty great.

| Chamberlain Waits is the album of the year so far IMO, just slightly over The Monitor and High Violet
The hooks are just unbelievable

| I heard "Kentucky Gentlemen" (i think thats the name) on last.fm and I thought it was such a cool song. The whole acoustic/gang vocals/bro feel to it.
After checkin out this thread, It seems I better start checking these guys out!

| I was hoping this thread existed! I fell in love with these dudes when they were opening for TGA. Just saw them this past Friday and it was INSANE. I hadn't planned on getting up front on account of my back giving me problems lately, but when I showed up there weren't many people and two of my friends were against the stage, so I stupidly joined them. Stupidly, because I was wearing my glasses instead of my contacts. The glasses met their demise but luckily I needed a fresh prescription anyway. Other than that, it was one of the most fun shows I've been to. Anyway, I wanted to drop off these pictures of Brendan Kelly joining the band and everyone being total bros, because it's great. I love it. The lighting in this place (Beat Kitchen) is always absolutely terrible, so all my pictures kind of suck (made even more awful by the intensity of the crowd), but here are the rest regardless: https://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2228912&id=39502314&l=3278fd128a | |

would love to see em with Tigers Jaw and Menzingers. Did Alg Cad play any new songs? or did they stick to the classic jams? But yeah thats why I am so excited for this show, because the lineup is really stacked.

| Tigers Jaw was great, missed half their set because I was at the bar. Mostly stuff from Two Worlds but they did play I Saw Water from the s/t and that was awesome. Seeing them again on Saturday in Boston, so missing a little bit wasn't a big deal.
Alg Cad is the best Cap'n Jazz rip off band IMO. They played a new song too! This new record is going to kick major ass.
Menzingers of course were the band of the eve. They played everything I wanted to hear. Pretty much the same set as the Chicago show. So bummed that this lineup didn't end up touring, but I'm glad I got to witness this show. Best 6 bucks I've ever spent.
