I have this one friend who used to LOVE AM! but will forever hate them because they "sold out". the mere mention of them triggers a ten minute lecture on how they're horrible and how much he wants to punch Tom in the face. it's kinda funny, in an annoying sort of way.

alright, all i've heard by against me! is the new wave album, and "don't lose touch" and "from her lips to god's ears" (really good song). since most people say they've sold out and they were better before, what are some songs/albums i should start with? would the live album be good to start with?

and regardless of how much they sold out, "up the cuts" and "thrash unreal" are incredible songs, and "white people for peace" and "borne on the fm waves of the heart" are pretty good too
