Closest show to me is either the upstate ny show, or the Delaware show. anyone know much about either venue that there should be a preference? I'm jealous of you guys who have so many shows near you that 2 hours is considered a ways away. Living in Iowa, I would be absolutely stoked to have my favorite artists play 2 hours away! I generally have to drive 4 hours for most bigger shows. Here's hoping Brian comes somewhere in the Midwest so I can make the trip!!

CT is 1400 I believe so that may throw a kink in your average. I think he's being a bit ambitious there considering most people say "who?" whenever I'm back home and mention Gaslight but good for him! With the Massachusetts/Rhode Island crowd plus the 4 people in CT who actually listen to good (non-arena level) music he should draw at least a decent crowd I hope!
Seats, and I'm taking my parents. Should be a different but interesting experience. oh okay..that's a lot more...thanks for the answer...so I can somehow figure out if Brian will come to Luxembourg or not...I can not think of any arena over here..just one which has a capacity of 950 (I guess, never been to a gig in this arena) anyway still hoping for Luxembourg
that's cool...my parents are not interested in sth like that maybe my mom... Me and my fiancee are going to the CT show from Worcester, MA (central MA). And when I heard Brian was playing in CT and realized that this stop was at Foxwoods Casino I was surprised. I mean, Ive been to Foxwoods but not much to gamble/eat the buffet but really couldnt picture a show like Brian's playing there. I did look up the Fox Theater to get some idea of set up and such. The theater does look awesome but I am kind of not into the idea of sitting at a show. Either way, it should be a grand ol time.

| I'm excited. The Crossroads show that i went to last year was a mix of MatZ, Elsie in its entirety, Brian's solo stuff and then Misery. If these sets have that mixed with new material the shows will be amazing. | |

I would state it a bit differently: If these shows don't have new material (or at least different material from last year), they will be pretty uninteresting to anyone who attended last year.

| Jonny Two Bags posted on his FB page that he will be touring with Brian in Feb in the US. I've added the dates to the first post in this thread

Not like most bands mix up their shows that significantly. I'm sure Brian mixes it more than most.

Also, I don't think this material has been played frequently enough that a setlist with no new material would be a significant disappointment. The Horrible Crowes played one east coast show; there were two Molly shows; and the material has been played a few times by Brian at Crossroads. It's not like I've seen Smoke anywhere close to as many times as the '59 Sound. But I do think we'll see some new songs, and I am looking forward to them.

| Though if it is the same set 3 times in a row at crossroads that would be much. | |

Nights 2 and 3 were identical in song choice and order if I'm recalling correctly. Having never gotten to hear at least half the songs live before, it didn't really bother me but it would be nice if there's something about this year that makes it different than last. I'm honestly more concerned though about the album being out in time for the first US dates in 2016. 3 xroads shows very similar to last year, okay sure. But I'd be pretty bummed if between this and the tour I see 6 identical shows with no new songs. I love seeing Fallon play but that would be a bit much!

| Even if album isn't out I don't think that would stop him from playing any of his new songs
I have nothing inside info wise to think this but I would assume he's gonna play a mix of MATZ THC and solo stuff. Might also include a tiny bit of gaslight stuff.

I just posted them. It needs a bit of formatting and I should actually work. But I didn't want to let you all wait any longer, also well, I'm the master of (work) procrastination ;-)

I think by his wink he was basically saying he's playing a few of the new songs. Probably wants it to be more of a surprise. I'm also intrigued by which MATZ songs were recordeded. Assume Red Lights. Probably Smoke also. And I guess the songs getting the proper versions are The Blues Mary and Italian Lightning?

| Clarification: The Webster Hall show on Jan 19th is NOT an album release show, but a normal one.
More US tourdates will be announced officially today.

| A press release I have just seen says:
"The shows get underway Thursday, January 7th at Portland, ME’s Port City Music Hall and continue throughout April. Additional live dates will be announced soon, including a full-scale world tour following the album’s release."
World tour!! | |

More US tourdates will be announced officially today. That would make 11 March at Royale, Boston, MA, the de facto release show.
