Open All Night So, the thing is. As much as I like those tracks that we have heard before... we HAVE heard them before in lesser, yet decent studio quality. I was really looking forward to a completely new and fresh record.

| I forget where I read it but I recall Brian asked Bruce if he could cover The Wall for an album, but Bruce had to say no because he planned on using it for the High Hopes album... So this leaves us with Open All Night... ... maybe | |

| Looks like a pretty good balance between new and old to me. Still holding out hope for The Blues, Mary as a bonus track, that definitely needs a decent recording.
Nice to see a girl's name there in the tracklisting!

| These 3 MATZ songs are so great. They are some of my favorite things Brian ever wrote. I'm glad they'll be available to a wider audience. | |

I'm sure I read somewhere that low-love would be a bonus track. Think we can expect The Blues Mary too but I dunno about Italian Lightning and Tin Pan??? Lucky perhaps? He has said that some of the MatZ songs have been re worked to different extents so They may still seem new to those complaining that they already know the tracks. I'm looking forward to those three. They're the bestv 3 MatZ songs

| Well Tin Pan Alley already had a proper release, so that seems unlikely. The Blues Mary is a must though surely? | |

| Anyone else feel like Low Love is gonna be added to "She Loves You", "Blue Dahlia", and "Have Mercy" collection of songs that really should have made the record but for some reason didn't and get played live wayyyy more often than one of the songs on the album? Because I am seeing that happening lol | |

| I read a few times in this thread that "Tin Pan Alley" already had a proper release. When did it have a proper release? And is it available somewhere? | |

| There was a 7" vinyl split with Chuck Ragan called Gospel Songs. If you're in the US, I think you can still get it from the Side One Dummy Store, if not there are loads floating around second hand.
Never seen a digital version though, at least not legally.

| Why on Earth "Low Love" isn't on the album proper is beyond me, although it seems that happened with every TGA album too. | |

| B-sides can be great. Maybe Low Love just didn't fit the flow of the album or require Butch to record it (since for some reason it looked like the b-sides were recorded in a different location than the actual album). B-sides are just incentive to purchase from different locations (like an itunes now more than ever)
7th and Union could be a b-side. Or a cover of something like I Walked With A Zombie could be fun too. I have a feeling Brian had a lot to chose from.

| I get the feeling that the album proper will have a full band on most, if not all of the tracks. I know Brian went and recorded the B Sides afterwards so I expect those to be the more acoustic based songs such as The Blues, Mary and Low Love, etc. | |

| He said in DE the other night that a song was being released for record store day. Maybe it was Low Love. I can't remember exactly which one he said. | |

In Foxwoods, he said it was Tin Pan Alley. And I think somebody yelled for "The Blues, Mary" and he said that was on the record store day release as well.

| Just listened to a lot or the new songs up on YouTube and I'm loving them all. All are right in my wheelhouse of the sound I really enjoy. Will be a long 2 months until the albums is on shelves. | |
