If one of the mods wants to contact him that would be sweet. Maybe even get a cool background or layout. ok, I'm not a mod, but I've been in touch with him before, so I've now mentioned it to him I have now heard from Jeff. He says he can do something for us once the new album is out (assuming the forum admin are happy with that). I have now followed this up, and Jeff has confirmed he can do a new logo for us as early as next week. What dimensions and what do we want on it (ie. do we want something original or based on the American Sland artwork; not sure if Jeff can include a photo of the band). Or are people no longer keen on this?

| Yes, new logo. About the same size would be cool. If we could get something for the sides too that would be sweet. Like American on one side and slang on the other. | |

| So far I haven't heard back from Jeff about a new logo, so I wondered if we should at least update the photo in the currrent logo (some brand continuity may not be a bad thing). How about this: | |

however, in a community such as this, you want to cater for all generations of TGA fans, not just the slangers, but the swimmers and sounders too

I couldn't decide if they should be senorers, which doesn't sound right, or s'norers; of course, some people might be sinkers; so ... swimmers, s'norers, sounders and slangers (what is with the 's' in TGA album titles?)

swimmers, s'norers, sounders and slangers (what is with the 's' in TGA album titles?) You could just call them Senors ah, but I like them all to end in -ers (it's more poetic); and '59ers is a no-no as it starts with a 'f' sound, not an 's' swimm erss'nor erssound ersslang ers(please appereciate that it took extra time to colour them)and that leaves wimm'nor oundlang; great, if you like them all, your name's Wimm'nor Oundlang; this is nearly as good as 2UDI6UY (search the forum if you don't know what that means)not that this has anything to with the new logo; good night!

| 2UDI6UY is back in the game why not SeƱores?? a little of spanish doesn't do any harm! and by what you've wrote it should be Oundlang, even though Oundland sounds better... it reminds me of that german language | |

this is an oldish joke about shortening 'We Did It When We Were Young' to WDIWWWY, then reducing the many Ws to WDI3WY, then, taking account of double-u, reducing it to WDI6UY or 2UDI6UY we're just so clever on this forum
