I'm not sure if I'll make 10 as I've mostly been discovering a lot 'older' music this year (started listening to a fair amount of grunge, for example), but here are a couple of my favourites, in no particular order:
The Hold Steady: I Hope This Whole Thing Didn't Frighten You and/or The Only Thing
(I'm still torn between the two, depending on my mood, but those were probably two of the TD songs that stood out most for me, though I actually liked the album quite a lot in general from the 3rd listen onwards or so)
The Gaslight Anthem: Stay Vicious / 1000 Years
(Indecisive as ever, but damn these are some good songs. Stay Vicious is a killer opener live. Saw 'em at the AB and the drum intro combined with the bright strobes just blew me away from the first second)
Beg Your Son For A Cigarette: Nine (Oh Boy)
(Local band from my area, I know some of them and I kinda can't help but love them. I've kinda got high hopes for these guys getting somewhere, seeing where they are now I think they really deserve it )
Nine (Oh Boy) - BYSFAC
Bruce Springsteen: The Wall
(I'd say this one's kinda obvious, almost ^^ )
(Probably still 2013? Don't know exactly?) Molly and the Zombies: Red Lights
(I just love it. Straight from the first listen, probably the best MATZ song I've heard (which is kinda limited to whatever I can find online, dunno if there's more)
