| Heya, how are all you lovely folks?
I'm just an 18 year old belgian art student who's been listening to TGA for a year or two now, and I've so far seen them once live at the AB in Brussels and have one actual physical album (damn you, empty wallet and shipping costs! xD), namely the pre-order version of 'Get Hurt'.
Anyway, hope all of you have a lovely day, cheers!

You went to the AB a couple of weeks ago? Liked it? It was both my first Gaslight live and generally my first 'big' live in general, as I'm more used to seeing local bands, and I liked it a lot, yeah. Brian's banter's awesome as always and Stay Vicious is a killer opening song. In general I was pleasantly surprised by the variation of songs, going from SoS to Get Hurt songs and many of my personal favourites (like We Came To Dance or She Loves You). I think the only thing that could've been a lot better is just the fact that it was on a monday (and the monday after autumn break for me), and maybe that I had to go by myself xD Got kinda lost in Brussels but had an awesome night on the whole.

| Well, I've done a lot of shows by myself, and for me that's sometimes the nicest way of going to concerts: you don't have to worry about what your friends will think of the show (especially if it's a band that you really really like). I know I never really have to do that, it's just something that happens with me. But keep it up, AB has a lot of great shows and the town has a lot of things to offer, so keep getting lost | |

| Gladly, though I'll remember to print a little streetplan at least next time. This time I just winged it but being from Bruges which is tiny and has streetplans everywhere, I was kinda surprised at how hard it is to find a decent one even around the Central station. xD | |

| Greetings from the Netherlands!
I've never been to a show in Belgium, I believe (although I've been to Rock Werchter) since most bands visit the Netherlands anyway. Still, since I grew up in the placid clay of the Dutch South-West, Antwerpen was actually way closer to my parent's house than Amsterdam, but I never went regardless. Went to a drum 'n bass show in Mechelen once though, which caused me to end up with a Belgian bollard with flashy lights in my garden. We actually ended up using that to warn incoming traffic when we were restoring our roof.
That story made me use up all my cool-story-bro-credits for the day.

| Lol, sounds like a pretty wild night then *grins*
But yeah, budget and time limitations mean Brussels is generally about as far as I can go out to, so for me it's stuff like the AB once in a blue moon and except for that local bands, though I have to say I think Bruges has a some pretty nice talent hidden away here in between the tourist traps and old folks. Just off the top of my head Calling Susan, Beg Your Son For a Cigarette and Wasted 24/7 are all local bands that by now have stuff up on YT and are always great fun to see live.
