Least Favorite TGA Song

Come on guys, you know you have one or two of their songs that you like a little less than all the others. It doesn't mean that you hate them or anything, it just means that they are your least favorite. From SoS my least favorite is probably "Boomboxes", and from the 59 sound it's probably "even cowgirls". SatQ is my favorite release by them, so I refuse to pick a least favorite from that one. What is your least favorite song?

The only song I don't like is "The Backseat".

after RITM, it would probly be Wherefore. maybe if i looked at the lyrics i'd get into it more, but i don't really know what he's saying.

However I still really like the song, especially the acoustic performance. It's kind of sickening I still haven't found a single song by them that I don't even remotely dislike.

Doesnt sound like them at all. Doesnt fit in with the rest of 59 sound at all.
Like the lyrics, hate the music.

Backseat is one of my favorite ones! It feels very much like a 'The Killers' song - but my least fav would have to be Cowgirls, and the first half of Angry Johnny. The rest are all brilliant (imho!)

Wherefore Art Thou, Elvis is one of my favourites and that's because of the lyrics too. They're so beautiful!

I was really thinking of my least favourite song, and it was tough. I thought of Navesink Banks because it's kind of dark and takes away from the happiness TGA bring me, but it's such an amazing song.

^ Apart from it being the first Gaslight song I heard, the lyrics are also probably why Wherefore is my favourite song too.

My least favourite songs I think are RITM, Drive and the first few lines of ...Diner kinda annoy me, but saying that I still do like them!
Also for a while I could never get into Great Expectations, but that's not an issue any more :]

also, i wish i had looked up the lyrics to Wherefore sooner. those are some of the best lyrics he's written. i guess that's what i get for not buying the album

I agree, no one is perfect, but there are always songs that we like least. Also, that recent Johnny Cash cover I don't like too much.

that's a great video. it's just sometimes i don't feel like listening to Drive as much as some of the other songs, but it sure is great when they play it live!

wherefore is also one of my favourites mainly cause its the first one i heard by em, since then, been hooked. though would i be correct in saying they havent played it live in the UK and its been removed from their setlist? pitty if thats the case, if it isnt, damnit that i wasnt there. was the ONLY complaint about the ulu show, was convinced they were guna play it, but tbh, just left me wanting more, lol.

not a huge fan of meet me by the rivers edge, not sure why, but it just seems a bit average when put against their other songs. still quite like it, just its not why i love gaslight anthem, if that was all i had heard by them, i probably wouldnt be singing their praises, might be a couple of other songs i feel the same way about, but its only cause of just how good the other songs are.

Looking solely at the number of times I've played each one on iTunes, I'd say Red At Night from Sink or Swim (maybe it would be different if it was further up the listing... bit slow to finish maybe, especially after Diner)

Off the '59 Sound, Even Cowgirls Get The BLues. Or if you're counting Once Upon a Time, which wasn't on my album, but that I bought of iTunes, then that.

I still love those songs... though they're perhaps my 'least loved' ones.
