'Oriole Park' movie with music by Brian - contribute $ & get a credit

Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere but, according to Absolutepunk.net...
"Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem will be composing the soundtrack to the upcoming film Oriole Park. He has also agreed to write three original songs for the film which will be produced and directed by Kevin Slack."

Yes. MATZ, Get Hurt, and now this. I'm glad Brian is being really active music-wise lately. We'd never have enough!

I guess this is the solo album or what has become of it?

I love how prolific Brian is. We never have to wait long for new music from him.

Just echoing the fact that Brian keeps making lots of amazing music. We're so spoiled. Wonder what it's going to be. First thought is more Hold You Up EP kinda stuff. Anyone know the time frame for the film/soundtrack?

As much as I love this, I was disappointed to see the a film called Oriole Park wasn't about Baltimore   

So excited about this.

As you know from the above, Brian Fallon is writing the music for a new movie, 'Oriole Park', which is currently in pre-production.  The director is none other than Kevin Slack, of Gaslight Anthem video fame.

Elevator Pitch: "Oriole Park" stars Joey King ("Wish I Was Here") as a young woman who has recently lost her mother and is watching her father lose a battle with depression and alcoholism in the fall of 1978. Her struggle to find acceptance leads her to a group of delinquents who introduce her to the world of drugs, alcohol and violence that she’s tried desperately to escape. Set against the backdrop of the John Wayne Gacy murders, the project also stars Joel Murray ("Mad Men"), Thomas Beaudoin ("Other Plans") and Christian Stolte ("Chicago Fire"), with music by The Gaslight Anthem's Brian Fallon.

I was wondering about this a couple weeks ago.

(Given where it's set I'd be a shitty Chicagoan if I didn't kick in a few bucks, eh? Though I could care less about the 'credit'....I just want it to be done well...)
