hey guys n gals
just wondering what everyone's favorite covers he sings in the middle or end of gaslight songs, For me it is probably "You Really Got A Hold On Me" at the end of She Loves You and "Downtown Train/ What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted" in the middle of "Angry Johnny And The Radio"

Oh my, that version of Angry Johnny is fantastic! I also love the version they do with Blood Bank during the bridge.

Jesus by Brand New in Angry Johnny is great, too. But the Downtown Train one is probably my favorite.

This Angry Johnny recording from Asbury Park with the Brand New bit is just mindblowing! Does Anyone know where to find the other recordings from this night? And i so wish the guys would do more of this (atmospheric) jamming between songs. On this recording the music just flows, goes its own way and does what live sets are for: leave the path of the recorded song and let the music develope from itself

"Stand by Me" (thanks, I'd forgotten about this one) and "You Really Got a Hold on Me" but also "Just Like Heaven" in "The Backseat"
