Wasn't crazy about this song on first listen but after a few spins I've grown to love it.

This is more of a general comment.
Ian plays lead on this right? Or at least I read that slide guitar was his idea if I remember correctly. This is by far my favorite song from Get Hurt. Its interesting that Elsie is my favorite album and he obviously had say in that. Its interesting that hes directly in my favorite works. He and Brian work well together.

As for this song..like I said. By far my favorite on the album if not in general. The chorus kills me every time.

I definitely hear 'I will hold you in my arms where LUST and sorrow lie'. I am sure that is the lyrics and I think that would make more sense too. Anyone else hear this?

btw i do hear rust :/ and i think it does make sense if you think about it from the perspective of the song being about how love is now gone and how much he is suffering about it because she is no longer in his arms (hence the rust, if you will)
