Similar to Handwritten, German distributers Greenhell and Flight 13 are carrying the album with a bonus 7" that's limited to 700 copies. Only Greenhell ships to U.S.

Thanks for that info. Flight 13 works out cheaper to the UK.

The 7" really amounts to a physical release of the RnT single plus B-side.

Having already bought the double gatefold vinyl from Universal I dont really want a second copy of it too so I think I'll have to pass on this. It gets so expensive with all these options.

But do we know that this is the gatefold picture disc?

On Flight 13 it only says exclusive double LP with coloured 7".

I asked Flight 13 if the Double LP was also limited to 700 or whether it was the picture discs available elsewhere.

In reply, the told me the "package" was limited to 700.

I wish people would answer questions more directly, but a follow up query established this to mean that Double LP is not limited to 700.

I now trust that the 7'' is not going to crop up elsewhere on its own.

Since then, Green Hell tell me that as far as they know "the version with the 7'' is limited to 700".  That still sounds like the package being limited, rather than the double LP itself.

There was the same confusion with the Handwritten. The problem is that the distros get incomplete info.

My take is that a major label is not going to press that small of batch for an LP. It wouldn't make sense. Pressing 700 copies of a promotional 7" makes much more sense.

I'm also assuming that the 7" will be a in a simple plain white paper sleeve like the Handwritten 7'.

Still, on the Gaslight Anthem's own store at https://store.universalmusic.com/thegaslightanthem/*/*/Get-Hurt-EXCLUSIVE-Double-Gatefold-Vinyl/3DBH0000000 , the double gatefold there is shown as "EXCLUSIVE Double Gatefold Vinyl". What makes that one exclusive? Also, that one costs a heck of a lot more than the one at Green Hell and Flight 13, which is why I am not sure that their double LP is the picture disc one.

It's certainly unclear. Adding to the confusion, Greenhell states that the LP is being put out by Virgin rather than Island so that could also suggest that this pressing of the double LP is different from the one on the band's pre-order site. I predict it will get more confusing before is gets clearer.

I really didn't want to order multiple copies again but I just gave in and ordered the double LP with the coloured bonus 7". I am so weak. Haha

Did you contact Green Hell/Flight 13 already and ask if the double LP is the picture LP?

I did not but I doubt they know for sure.

on the main page on finestvinyl there s a photo of a black 12 with a red 7" . think the 7 inch bundles have the regular black lp. picture disc exclusive to the universal store imo.

That wouldn't be the "regular" black version though because it's two LPs.

I wrote to the universal.com store, which handles the UK pre-orders from TGA's website: "Is the Gaslight Anthem's 'Get Hurt' double LP picture disc exclusive to this store, i.e. is it different from the double LP available at Flight 13?"

This was the reply: "The item you have enquired about is not exclusive to the UK online store, it is possible to obtain the item from different stores which may be responsible for online sales in countries outside of the UK. In some cases slightly different copies or styles can be available but I am unable to advise on stock these stores will have as we are not connected to them."

I am not sure that anyone has the complete picture.

the 7" bundle is just with the standard lp, NOT 2LP . from the website of flight13 and greenhell (probably finestvinyl too ) !

^^ At least I hadn't already ordered that version. I had planned to skip it, but oh well.

Ordered all of it. Double LP, 7'' bundle and the deluxe signed CD. Why the hell not?!

Has anyone in the US received either vinyl? Or a shipping notice?

Just saw Jack's in Red Bank posted a pic of the LP's and of 7"s...not sure what the 7" is but might have to stop by tomorrow to see.

Does anyone know if the vinyl sent to stores is the "splatter" version? I want that one but I also like to buy from one of my local record stores, so I'm conflicted.
