| Well of course there is the other side like Gastropubs and stuff so I dont have to go those "glass-eyed-bars"...maybe just for "fun" some times and cheap beer. My wallet doesnt like 'nicebars' and dont think anybodys with Finnish alcoholtaxes and stuff. And not really sure the familything would work, but to my eyes what ive seen in like Germany and England, I havent see any trouble...but I dont really know. Ive only seen it on my small vacations around Europe and here its seriously almost a childcare case Well COB is kinda okay. They have somewhat unique sound, but Nightwish I never liked especially with Tarja Turunen. Nowdays mainstream metal to my ears its just like shittycountry mixed with distorted guitars. Awful. Maybe not the best description, but couldnt came up with better. I listened some Göterborgscene(or whatever) influenced underground metalbands like 5-10 years ago, but I dont care that much now. Medeia's first record was good and Pofony was okay. Well I havent been that hot country more than maybe couple days, but ive always had more troubles with cold than hot. Ill trade any sweaty night for when you woke up its dark, cold, you have to run through snow, get to work, see the sun maybe on your coffee break (well thats kinda my fault, wrong workplace), you get out and the sun is gone again. And its still cold and wet. And your shoes sucks, because you drink your shoemoney (oh sorry, my fault again)... |

| The heat gets me worse than anything. I just hate finishing a fifteen hour shift in the kitchen, stepping outside and having it be just as hot as it was at work... | |

| Well, thats true. I work at a kitchen also and summertimes I would work at anywhere else(maybe in the winter too, but thats another thing). But Finnish summer is usually only 25-30 and at its worst 35 so... |

Not going to do this for the rest of my life. Hell no Yeah don't freaking do it man. Cooking will eat your life. I work seven days a week, 180 hours a fortnight, spend maybe 2 nights a week max with my girlfriend, which are usually just a "hey baby, I'm tired, lets go to sleep", my only friends are other chefs and ever since I moved up the ranks into a Head Chef's position, I sleep about 4 hours a night, usually while having nightmares about things I forgot to do before I went to sleep. It looks like so much fun on TV, but seriously y'all, don't cook for a living...

| All this earnest discussion and deep thought is making me feel too grown up. Time for amphetamines and negronis. I'd invite y'all, but I appear to be in the precise asshole of nowhere compared to everyone else on this forum... | |

| Hint: Swedish girls are prettier and Swedish metal is better.
Not to discredit Finland though, Finns are my fellow brothers and sisters as a Swede.

| Im too boring guy for amphetamines, but Negronis sounds nice. Swedish metal could be really better. I mean you have At The Gates for example. Girls, hmmm, Id say 50-50. |

| So actually got a Friday night off. Booked a date with girlfriend. I've been in kitchens for fifteen years, this is very much the first time in my life I've ever done the Friday night dinner-and-a-movie thing like a real person. And she breaks a contact lens at work and can't go out, so I just stay at work because I don't have any friends who aren't cooks/waiters/barmen so they're all working anyway. Once again the gods shit upon me... | |

| In Jimmy's defense, Ireland and the UK have the highest allele frequency compared to any other human population around the world for the red hair gene. Now since it is a recessive trait, any offspring will have to receive the trait from both parents which makes it a less common feature than people stereotypically associate with Ireland.

Can she not wear glasses? Oh sorry, should clarify- she broke it while it was in her eye and is now hiding in a dark room generally feeling sorry for herself
