A forum dedicated to The Gaslight Anthem - Brian Fallon says: ''For consistent and up to the minute stuff, Dimestore Saints is a great place to check out and hang with some really nice people.''
I'm realizing now that these dudes and Timeshares are probably my favorite bands in "the scene". There isn't a bad song in their discography. Spooky Action is one of the best eps of the year (Podacter being the other one) and this new album is the last record I'm looking forward to this year. DON'T MESS UP. Listen to this band. Their whole discography is available on bandcamp for free/donations.

Again, lots of views and no responses. This band had the craziest reaction of the Fest. The crowd literally destroyed the barricade.

Then they played a secret show that they announced on FB 5 minutes prior, luckily I checked it out and saw them with 25 other fans. This is important and they are the absolute best band.

The Constant One is the AOTY. Even better than the new Justin Timberlake. I never toss statements like that out there lightly. I'm on my 15th listen. Do the right thing and check it out.

Real talk: I honestly don't know any of these bands. I just happened to recognize the name Iron Chic from that concert listing and thought I'd post that in case you didn't know about it. Sorry for opening the wound!

I see them tonight with Timeshares at the First Unitarian Church. The 2 best bands on planet Earth. At the best venue on the planet. WOW.

I'm pretty sure nobody reads this.
But yo.
Anyone going to Boston to catch Iron Chic and Broadcaster? We should hang if you are considering it. Lets sing this song very loudly! (IMISSJOSHRAYMOND)
I read too! Because I want to know what people think of bands I keep seeing mentioned on Vice/Brooklyn Vegan that I've never heard of in my life. (not being sarcastic)

They are THE raddest. Can't believe people read what I have to say. Lorraine have you listened to them yet? If so, what do you think?

Ok I watched some of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlFOjSZuJZY They seem likeable enough. I don't know how they stand out from any other group though? I'm definitely not trying to down them cus I like it. I mean if they were on a bill at a fest I was at or something, I'd definitely go check them out. It's just that lately I'm failing to see anything particularly special from one band to another that fall under this type of sound. So is it their personality or lyrics you like better than another band? How did you find out about them in the first place?
Also, God bless the guy in the Tim Barry shirt holding the barricade up! Dude must be super strong.

They stand out for their lyrics, which rival any Gaslight song. In my opinion (which is an unpopular one) they are better songwriters. I also think that they stand out for their guitar work. Whenever I hear a new song from them, I can instantly tell just by the guitar work that it is an Iron Chic song.
I got into them in 2011 after I saw em open up for Paint it Black. I was hooked. Then I learned they had a member from Latterman in the band (one of my favorite bands from when I was in college) and I was sold.
Apparently according to a comment on that youtube video I almost died at Fest a bunch of times. Go figure right?
