Welp, see this board later. Good couple of years. Anybody that uses the word "gay" in a derogatory sense is a place I don't want to be.

Eh, while I can't speak for Harbortown, my message was supposed to be ironic. I'm not that kind of person at all

Anyway I propose we try and resurrect this useless thread by writing a post on where we're all at in life right now.
I'm turning 23 tomorrow which I'm not really very excited for. I enjoy being 22, it's a solid number and feels quite nice whereas 23 just seems ancient and boring. Ugh. I don't even know why I'm so fixated on a number. Either way I don't think it's going to be a very exciting birthday because I've already gotten a microwave and a vacuum cleaner as pre-birthday presents. Why? I've also recently moved into my own apartment which I'm really happy about because now I have all the time in the world to record songs, unfortunately my microphone broke down so I have to get a new one.
I'm still doing the whole substitute teaching thing but it's been a bit of a dry spell so far this semester, thankfully I managed to earn a decent amount of money in the spring and the summer. I try to save it as much as possible by eating sparsely (which also makes me lose weight which is great) and by not turning the heat on. I've been an intern at a kitchen appliance store that sells microwaves, fridges, dishwashers etc but thankfully I only have one more week left there, after which I'll be an intern at a modern clothing store instead. I'm really excited about that, as I'm not only very interested in clothes but because chances are that I might get a job there in the future if I prove myself.
As far as girls are concerned, the girl I've had a crush on (ranging from extinct to moderate to intense depending at different times) since I was 16 just split up with her boyfriend. I'm unsure about whether or not I should make a move.

I turned 22 today with a quiet birthday. I got 50 dollars, two books, and an ice cream cake. I also got a pair of jeans and received a nice surprise-36 waist is TOO big for me, in fact 34 may be getting to be too big for me, and I may end up in a 32 at this rate. What else, I quit UPS because it was just a horrible job in general (I will go into more details later if wanted), and decided I want to look into college for Pharmacy Tech. My band has been seriously practicing, and I received an email about submitting material for being included in a summer concert series in town. Currently we are doing pretty well, and actually will have some studio recording time next month!!!!!! As for girls well, The one girl I was crushing on was oblivious to even the most direct wording of "I like you", and meanwhile a girl I have no interest in at all, and has a reputation as a "dirty girl" keeps talking to me and wanting to date me. I want to date a good girl, not "that type of girl". Otherwise, I'm just doing okay and feeling 22.

Oh shit, didn't realize we were life updating.
I'M 24 AND NOWHERE IN LIFE. Actually no, shit's been good. Been seeing a lot of friends out of state lately, and spending some good quality time with people I haven't seen in a year +. Gave up the punx life and shaved the mohawk. Still staying drunk in public 24/7. Still lovin' cheap beer and Jameson. Still not lovin' police. Still D-R-E. Still doing cook jobs at a steady local joint, and just picking up shifts elsewhere.
Played accordion with some dudes folk punk band for a short time, but I really just can't stand most overly punk kids.
Gurls are such a drag. Met some chick at a show, and was too drunk not to flirt, which turned into hanging at a diner 'til 4AM. Then going to the touristy Nashville spots the other night until 3AM. While her boyfriend was at home. I don't believe either of us expect anything from it, but there's still all the awkward constant flirting. Weird situation. For the time being, she's a babe to hit up shows and rockabilly bars with at least.
Probably moving across the country in February also. Y'all homies in Idaho, hit a brotha up. My friend wants me to come out there and stay with her. I've never been further west than Chicago. So I said sure.
I don't think I've been on this forum in like eight months almost. My live is uneventful and mostly browned-blacked out.

Man you seem to lead a pretty chill live though based on what I can see on Instagram. Playing vinyl, hanging out with cool people, seeing bearded musicians in concert, drinking beer etc. I genuinely wish I lived in America.
