Hey, care to reply to my pm? After you read it a week ago? I could sell you an 8 or 16 gig Nano if you'd pay for shipping. I was gonna put them on ebay pretty soon anyway. That's very kind but I'm not looking for an iPod just for a reply to a pm I sent ;-) Sorry for the confusion...

That's hard, my both grandmothers died a few years ago (in the same year!) but my best friend still lived with her parents and it's very strange for her without her father, everything have changed...

I feel so sorry for her, but I don't know what to do, I fear that she'll crash... I would really like to offer advice and help you out but I'm essentially just a kid in this world and all I can really do is repeat what's already been said. Just be there for her and support whenever she needs it; just knowing that people are there for you really helps people out in tough times.

| I just can't believe it's been 12 years since 9/11/01.
I remember that day as well. It was going to be just another normal day of my 3rd or 4th grade year. It was just a normal day until my teacher was called outside of the room, and came back visibly paler than before. Then she turned on her portable TV (remember those?),and had it tuned into a news channel we could all see. So yes, I saw the second plane hit on TV when so many teachers across the country were told to act as though nothing was happening only a state over. I also have a personal connection to one of the planes;I saw Flight 93 like 15 minutes or so before it went down. I looked out the window of my classroom at the right moment, and saw a plane flying over my town (South of Pittsburgh), I watched it for a minute then went back to my school work. It was the only plane I saw all day, and a little bit later, we heard that another plane went down in Shanksville PA (Half hour or so drive from my house). At that point, I was scared out of my mind, worried we were going to be hit next. Apparently I wasn't alone, because started being pulled out of school around that time, so by the end of the day, there may been about only a quarter of the total child population on a busy day.

| I also saw the second plane on TV, my mom, my sister and I came back from shopping where we heard it on the radio in the car and at home we switched on the TV and there we saw the second plane. I think everyone knows where he was when this happened.
And I remember that all the TV channels switched over to it with the exception of one which showed Die Hard -.-

| Check out my friends band. Apparently they were popular on reddit for a couple of days. They are super talented! Using the Spam Thread to actually spam people, who would've thought of that?

| "Apparently they were popular on reddit for a couple of days." What does that mean? I don't use reddit so I've no clue about what the deal with it is as a community beyond reading a Q&A with Frank Turner (and maybe Mark Hoppus?) once. | |
