Brian Fallon Christmas compilation

Hi guys. I'm not a member here or anything, but I love the band and all things Brian Fallon, so I've been lurking on here and 18milesaminte for quite some time now. I've picked up every available download, and even ripped a few myself.

I drive, because it's really all you can do in my spread-out town, and I always have company in the passenger seat. During these joyrides, my friends usually complain about the music... nobody really listens to anything but the radio around here... but every time I have The '59 Sound in, they all seem to love it. I got a bunch of friends into the band that way.

Anyway, for Christmas I needed a gift. My computer is overflowing with Brian Fallon solo sessions, TGA live shows, Cincinatti Rail Tie, This Charming Man, and the new solo stuff, so why not make a compilation of Brian Fallon.

I went through all the stuff I had and picked out the true gems... the acoustic Old White Lincoln, live versions of Say I Won't (Recognize) with "Do you like good music?", Angry Johnny with "What becomes of the broken hearted?", Wherefore Art Thou Elvis with "This is a man's world!", I'da Called You Woody with "Stand By Me", etc. etc. etc.

Besides being to a few live shows, I wouldn't have even known about these rarities without these forums, so I'm giving this out as a thank you. I edited most of the tracks to be about the same volume and quality. It makes one hell of a car mix, so put aside a blank CD for this one. Cheers and merry Christmas

Wow can't believe I never knew about it. It's more hawaiian sounding than reggae, which I dig a whole lot more. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

yeah, man i love that version. and i think the acoustic version of 1930 deserves to be on there as well, considering it's probly the most amazing thing i've ever heard

the song's pretty solid. also, Great Expectations acoustic from the Baltimore show is too spectacular to leave off this list as well

that site also mentions that Brian was in The Lawrence Arms for a short period. we need to dig up some info on that too

Is that the Live at Court Tavern version?
