SINGLES COLLECTION: 2008-2011

So, I got the Singles Box set from S1D (a few days early as well, just posting a bit late) and the b-side to Boxer was a fantastic acoustic version. This one actually:

I have no idea where they took it and so on (like whose doing the killer backup vocals?). Just wondered if anyone knew anything, and who got the box set. I got mine on red, out of 500 presses I think. I love every song but the State and Love of Trust cover. They didn't pick a very good take of that song in my opinion.

They released that version of Boxer online as freebie a few years ago. That's B-Fal himself on the back-up vocals.

Woah, I never heard this version, thanks for the link! For some reason Brian's vocals remind me a lot of how he sounded pre-gaslight, particularly like the recording of that surrogate mackenzie song about buffy.

That version of Boxer is so good. I remember when they put it out for free during XMas 2010, I believe, but then it disappeared for a while. Got that Tom Waits vibe goin on

I can't decide if I like that Boxer version or the iTunes session Boxer better.

I have the blood red version. The hole of some of the 7"s isn't exactely in the middle of the record, so it gives a whoawhoa-sound (don't know how to explain it better in English). Anybody has the same problem?

got mine now on black vinyl. red version is at the german duty. think it was a failure to order both.

anyone know where to get artwork for the singles. Specifically the "new" ones like spirit of jazz, the b-sides etc.?
