Any Gaslight Anthem fans here who can speak french well?

I've been taking french classes for a year now but thinking that my progress is really slow.

i've considered becoming more fluent in French, but i thought it would be pointless if no one i knew spoke French parce que j'aime la langue, je voudrais parle francais bon

i am not fluent enough to discuss how long i studied French, but it was on and off from 7th grade to 12th grade, plus a couple college courses, but on and off, so it was only basic French

it's such a beautiful language!

j'ai decidé apprendre francais parce que j'ai aimé les films francaise. et toi?

this may be out of topic, but:
does anyone of you french fans know good french(-singing) rock-bands?
back in the day when i started listening to music i only listened to french music for some reason and was a really big fan of "vulgaires machins", "Les Trois Accords", "La Ruda Salska" and "Yodelice".

So as i'm always searching for new music, if you could name some other great french musicians who may sound similar to gaslight, that would be great

No worries about hijacking the thread, I want to know some good french rock bands as well.

There is one pretty good one called Kyo but they no longer play anymore. They're a bit like a softer Linkin Park (if you're into that!)

I'm not listening to a lot of French bands singing in French but I can recommend (English lyrics) :
- If you're into punk rock and pop-punk, two of the best french bands : Uncommonmenfrommars / Burning Heads
- Bands from my hometown : The Kitchies if you're into indie/electro-rock ; Sail To North if you're into pop-punk/melodic hardcore ; Wake The Dead if you're into hardcore punk.

But these bands are not sounding like Gaslight at all ...

I don't listen to French-singing French bands except for great lyricists like Serge Gainsbourg or Georges Brassens.
