| ''We are pleased to announce that your forum is now optimized for browsing via mobile phones. We're still in the beta version of the feature, but you can now browse your forum with your smartphone.''
Do any of you view this forum on your smartphone? If so, please see how it looks and works, and you can give us advice on how to make it better here.
Sincerely,
Kropotkin | |

| Thats an old update from 2011 that appears every time you visit the administration panel. It's still in beta even though it's been like a year. You can't sign into your account or post and can only view the forum as a guest. Most people I've ever talked to about the mobile aspect just use the regular full site (you are able to switch between mobile and full site on your device.) because the full site offers more. Your only concern, using the full site over mobile, would be if you are concerned about wasting data because every time you load a page it has to download all the images. Info. Etc. | |

Whenever I log on on my Kindle Fire it'll occasionally appear instead of the desktop version, in my experience it isn't the friendliest mobile optimizations.

On all those three systems it is quite good. But I bet you'll need to add 'm.' before the link to get the mobile version on a kindle or whatsoever!

| i thought i would give everyone a heads up that forumotion finally updated the mobile version of the site. From what i can tell from a quick test you are now able to log in, post replies and new topics.
You are still able to access the classic/full site version if you prefer.

| so...i tried to use the site on my iphone, my problem was that i was trying to view Spam, which was on page 50 or so, and i couldn't find any way to go to the most recent post, without having to click "next" 50 times... most likely that's a Steph issue, not a technical issue, but... | |

most likely that's a Steph issue, not a technical issue, but... yeah thats an over look on forumotion part nothing we can really do. Most mobile parts of forums ive been on have that issue. its one weird over look. *shrug*

| I started having this problem again as well but I figured out what you have to do. When you open the site and it's that awful grey list, look for the teeny tiny arrow in the right hand corner of the page. It points downward. Click it, a bar will appear with 3 options, click the one furthest to the right that says (I think) Classic version or something. that'll switch it to the normal site. It's annoying though because you have to do it every time you open the site (at least I do). | |

That's weird, it's usually a one time click for me on my iphone. Unless you start clearing browsers history, cache, etc. it should stay on non-mobile.

| Love how the forum now spams with "Cookie Jam" pop ups and redirects me to the App Store every 30 seconds or so. Lame. | |

THIS. I thought I was constantly clicking on something by accident. I also get tossed out of safari if I try to view previous pages on a thread sometimes. If I have another tab open with another dimestoresaints thread, it's almost every time.

| Ditto re:Cookie Jam. I deleted the cached icon I had put on my homescreen and for the last day or so been hopping in straight from Safari (URL autofilling after entering "di" given the frequency) and am free from Cookie Jam or getting punted so far. | |

| I would love it if there was some way to show the "go to page" so you dont have to keep hitting next to get to the most current page. Sometimes there are 20 pages and it takes forever to get there. Just a suggestion but I love it no matter xoxox | |
