So true, and people who you think are your friends start trying to fact check you and prove you wrong by googling every point you make when you're just trying to have a casual conversation.

I only get 250 a month, and it annoys me to no end that people with iPhone send long texts and use up my texting. Usually it's just the end of a word or the last period that comes as a text of its own.

My friends used to have their phones out all the time when we went out. Made a rule though, the first person to grab their phone for Facebook or google pays for the drinks. Solved it pretty quickly.

Good point! The art of conversation is dying on us! One of my bosses does that to me all the time. I can always tell when she puts me on speakerphone and is looking stuff up at the same time. Then she doesn't listen closely enough when I am telling her something about her own children! Very frustrating!

I honestly asked myself the same thing. It's worse when I'm drunk too.


I keep character count on my texts, I hate sending someone an extra text for one word, so I'll go back and consolidate if I have to haha.

That's awesome.

It is a little nicer when you're out with friends and they start texting, than when they used to just make & take phone calls when you're out for dinner/drinks.

Also, I have NO IDEA what a sim is, probably shouldn't get a smart phone.

None of my friends know how to do that! I'll consolidate too, keeps me creative.

An SIM is the chip with your network ID on it. AT&T uses them. Verizon doesn't. Not sure about others.

What's bad is when you drunk text (or drunk call!) people and don't even remember doing it the next day...until they mention the crazy things you said.

Verizon is the best. I like them better than AT&T and T-Mobile.

I agree. I don't mind if people text occasionally if we're out or whatever, but it's inconsiderate to spend half the night on Facebook and ignore the people who you are actually with in person!

Anyone here who's thinking his/her phone is vibrating when he/she is drunk all the time too?

I tend to forget I have my phone with me when I've been out drinking. It's definitely a good thing because when I was at uni I would drunk text quite a lot.

Haha, sometimes I get really mad! Normally she's alright, but I don't like being ignored, especially when I am raising her children and might have something important to say! Jeez!

Lol! Sometimes! It makes me really paranoid because I think I'm missing calls/texts, so I'll think my phone is vibrating and check it constantly. Good thing I don't get drunk very often!
