I love those lines. They mean something to me, so whenever I hear them, it strikes a chord with me. I love everything about Mulholland Drive.

At first I misread your post and thought you said I didn't lean men. I wasn't sure how to respond to that!
Actually, I don't have anything against men with any body type. I'm not superficial at all. It's just something about bulging arm veins that grosses me out. I have to ignore them! Ya I got them pretty prominent in my arms and legs. I think it looks cool..lol I understand how it grosses some out though (females especially). It's weird, it's probably the only thing like that that really grosses me out. Working with kids, I have seen it all, worn it all, and cleaned it all up, so nothing phases me. I'm really tough when it comes to things like that. haha just pictured you throwin a party, & one of your girlfriends calls up. "Do you mind if I bring Mike along with me ?" / "Mike ? Mike he bulgy veiny guy ?" I mean ya, just make sure he's wearing long sleeves." I was actually just thinking that guy in the picture Shelby posted should always wear long sleeves! Seriously, if I see a guy like that, I have to not look at his arms ever or it creeps me out. No idea why!

For me, when he says "do I ever cross your mind", I think of it as being more of in a fleeting way, like just a random thought. But when he says "Do you ever think of me", I take that as being more like, "do you really think about me and wonder how I'm doing, what happened between us, etc.". That's just how I take it.

One time I got a phone call and missed 8 pages! Spam is like that. Not much is really going on tonight though. We were talking about veins which is just so disgusting.

Those are the best lines in Howl. I think that's a great song, but it's my least favorite on the album. Still better than everything on the radio, but I love the other songs more.

As you know his song writing is meant to be interpreted how ever it hits you. I love bands that write that way.

As you know his song writing is meant to be interpreted how ever it hits you. I love bands that write that way. ME TOO! One of my favorite things about Gaslight's music is that I can relate to every song in some way, some so closely they could have been written about me or my life, and other people might feel the same for different reasons. I think Brian just gets it. He gets how people feel and the crap that we all go through, and he uses his own stories to create these amazing songs that we can all relate to, because we've all been there. I can't think of any other songwriter who does that as well as Brian does.

| I've just never been into the super hero type movies. I saw a few of the Batman movies when I was growing up, but they were just okay. Not really my genre. | |
