Uk people, HALP!

So uhm, hi everyone, as some of you may know I am moving to England in a few months.
Some girl I've met in a hostel recently told me about this website that lets you create a profile in which you say what kind of house you're looking for and then the owners just write you and stuff.
Now, I unfortunately lost this website with my iPad but I remember it ended with co.uk and maaaybe started with an S.. any idea of what this website might be?? it would be really helpful
