- Alkaline Trio- Damnesia. Finally bought a copy of this, after spending massive amounst of time listening to it on youtube. God I love the Trio.
Also got a copy of Wild Flag's album, which I've also listened to a ton but never bought until now. Wild Flag is so damn good. Carrie Brownstein is the shit.
AND got Brandon Flower's solo album. I don't care what anyone says. That man writes some catchy ass music. Nice on the Flowers' solo album. I'll admit, I considered buying it at one point... just never quite broke down and got it. What do you think of it? Sometimes I love me some string band music. Was just listening to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERjlLEHlltQ

| The new The Fray album! New singles worth listening too: 'Heartbeat', 'Turn me on', 'Munich'
This one song; 'Run for your life', is kind of sounds the same like 'Lippy kids' from elbow!

I wasn't even planning on ever buying it, but I heard that Jenny Lewis sings on it(and she does, wonderfully!) and I had to get a copy just because of that, haha. |

I liked this band for awhile, and have seen them a couple times. The bassist of the band is in my instructing literacy class. Pretty neat. The band again is pretty great. Check em out if you're into: Braid, Sunny Day Real Estate, and to a lesser extent any midwestern emo band.

| Lots of soul - Otis Redding, The Temptations, The Four Tops, bits of James Brown too! And Norah Jones, bit on the chill side but great stuff none the less. And lots and lots of Feeder too! | |

| Devin Townsend - The guys a genius, end of. An absolute sonic landscape of sound. Can't wait to go see him in October in London for his full show/orchestra/appearances/madness. For anyone that thinks he is just metaaaaalllll, should check out some of his later albums. Beautiful stuff.
Dave Hause - Loving his album, infact, I can't listen to it once, it's kinda ocd, in that I have to listen to it twice when I do put it on.
HWM - and everything associated with the guys.
...and of course, Gaslight

| If I never heard Brian mentioning Bob Seger I wouldn't have looked twice at this. As it happens, managed to get it for £2 at my local record shop on vinyl and it's awesome! | |
