Oh, I love hearing Brian talk more than anything when I go to the shows. I love it when people are being douches and he just ends up making fun of them and ends up talking more because of them yelling at him to play more songs. Did you hear the rip of the LA Horrible Crowes show where he pulls a girl through a first-date conversation? Some guy was yelling about playing more songs, and he just looked at the guy and said "You're one of those types who just goes straight through first-base, second-base, third-base, fourth-base, POW!!!." Greatest thing I've ever heard.

I'm living temporarily with an uncle of mine and I'm job hunting over in Murfreesboro, which is where I'll be in a month when I start school at MTSU for recording industry. It's fracking gorgeous up here too...much more greenery than the humid concrete jungle I've lived in the past twenty years...

I was really lucky since most of my family actually lives up here, but my dad separated from them all back in the 1980's, so I kinda grew up detached from them all. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with you guys in this thread, haha. I just take a peek in here every day and I just end up laughing very awkwardly since I manage to come in at the perfect times. ;D

I'm gonna probably be more into it when I finally get my vinyl order next week, but I'm on about my tenth listen of the album from the NPR rip, and I'm kinda losing it mentally. Everyone who becomes my friend definitely gets the Gaslight/Horrible Crowes treatment, as well as an introduction to "The Garden State" since it's the greatest film of all time, as well as Frank Turner because he narrates all my hopes, dreams, and feelings in musical form. I haven't heard any negativity from any of those things yet, so I think I've done alright so far! It's nice getting to share my love with them, and Zack definitely quenches that thirst. He bases a lot of his writing style and ideals through their music, as I do also. They mean perseverance more than anything to me, and that alone has gotten me through some shit in my life. It's why my tattoo has the verse that it does...it's why I'm never going to stop keeping up with them. This music means the world to me, and I've met some great people because of it! <3

I'm the Queen of Spam, the super fan who has crazy Gaslight dreams and is going insane over Handwritten - my mind is melting! - and has the most ridiculous number of posts ever. So yeah...

Yep, we've chatted a few times around the forum, but it's been a while. A few months back, didn't we have a huge chain of posts about fake new Gaslight merch that we made up?

The super fans are my favorites. ;D If my buddy Zack posted on here more frequently, I think we'd be shit outta luck with post count. He lives and breathes Gaslight, and it was basically all my fault. Haha. I'm gonna probably be more into it when I finally get my vinyl order next week, but I'm on about my tenth listen of the album from the NPR rip, and I'm kinda losing it mentally. I'm ready to beg Brian to play Handwritten tomorrow night...

Honestly though, I would love to see someone have so much enthusiasm and love for Gaslight that they post even more than I do. I live and breathe this band too. I owe them a lot. Everyone who becomes my friend definitely gets the Gaslight/Horrible Crowes treatment, as well as an introduction to "The Garden State" since it's the greatest film of all time, as well as Frank Turner because he narrates all my hopes, dreams, and feelings in musical form. I haven't heard any negativity from any of those things yet, so I think I've done alright so far! It's nice getting to share my love with them, and Zack definitely quenches that thirst. He bases a lot of his writing style and ideals through their music, as I do also. They mean perseverance more than anything to me, and that alone has gotten me through some shit in my life. It's why my tattoo has the verse that it does...it's why I'm never going to stop keeping up with them. This music means the world to me, and I've met some great people because of it! <3

You have one of the best tattoos on DSS. It's amazing, and I love that line. It's so great to hear how much these songs mean to other people too. It's not just me who feels this music so deeply. These songs have saved me more than once, and I will always keep up with them too. I don't think there will ever be a better songwriter in my lifetime than Brian. He just gets how we all feel and what we all go through, and articulates it so brilliantly. I love that guy!

Over the weekend I relocated from Atlanta to Columbia, Tennessee. I'm living temporarily with an uncle of mine and I'm job hunting over in Murfreesboro, which is where I'll be in a month when I start school at MTSU for recording industry. I've got some close friends coming up closer to that time to start with me at the university, but I feel very much on my own at the moment. Cool thing is that I get to see the guys tomorrow!
