thanks! i actually have a mac though but at least now i know what to look for. ill search around.

So I also dvr'd the Springsteen storytellers that was on right before THC show and 1) they had promo commercials for Handwritten 2) right before THC show started the 45 video came on!

I wish I knew that Bruce was on before, I would have DVR'd that too! I recorded it with 10 minutes both ways in case they didn't start it at the right time, and I saw the 45 video too, which was quite surprising and nice. I actually have a digital copy of this sitting on my hard drive but I don't know what kind of size vs quality you guys are looking for, and I REALLY don't think you'd want the 8GB straight from the TiVo high def rip I've got. Plus my computer takes FOREVER to convert videos.

well, i REALLY would LOVE to have the 8GB file cause that means the quality is as good as it gets, but if you can't upload such a big file i can understand. 7.5GB will do

Probably easier for a Demonoid torrent, as long as none of us hit and ran.

Any ideas on how I can get this file to you guys without using a public tracker? We forget sometimes but we are talking about something "owned" by Viacom, and I don't need any DMCA letters.

Failing that, if you can find a way to slightly shrink the file and send it on a DL-DVD to someone who can upload it?

you can always burn it into a couple of dvds and send them out to some people. then those people make a couple of copies and send them out and so on... worked well with that Revival Tour vid a few months back..

B+P or something similar is a good idea, would still need to shrink the file a bit though.

It may fit on a dual layer DVDR. I'll have to check when I get home.

I'm working on this right now... I also just realized that the video for 45 is in my rip, which Dime definitely won't like (I had my TiVo start it early). I'm gonna go through and pull out the video and the commercials, and then probably let my computer convert it overnight.

How small do I have to get the file so I could upload it to something like Mediafire or Rapidshare? Also, if anyone is interested in the full HD version I could probably get it out to them. I may have to charge media though, dual layer DVD-R's arent exactly cheap.

I haven't forgotten, and I'm still working on how to get this out to people. I know for sure I'm gonna be sending full HD files out on DVD to people, for costs of media and postage, but I still haven't found a good way that doesn't involve torrents to get the smaller file I finally made out to people.
