If you're afraid to do something, you'll never know what could have been. I guess that answers my own dilemma up there^^<< somewhere. But in all honestly I'll answer. I mtn bike a lot. Like 100 miles a week I aim for. Yeti came to a few events and was looking to sponsor anyone of any skill lvl. You got the perks, the gear, the promos, only downfall was you had to buy one of their bikes (forgot what model) and little to factory price. Now that sounds like a great deal, but on the other hand I didn't have $600+ to blow. If need be, I could have made arrangements. But I didn't want to owe family any money so I took that chance and opted out of the sponsorship...

I think it has a chance to become my favorite Gaslight song.

What's the best thing in your life right now?

The best thing in my life right now would be all of the kids I know that brighten up my days and make life fun and worthwhile. The kids I nanny for and my nieces and nephew bring me so much joy, I don't know what I'd do without them. Normally I'm a very pessimistic person, so thanks for asking this question and making me think about a blessing in my life for a chance. I needed that.

Do you prefer dogs or cats?

No problem. I've been told I'm pretty good at cheering people so I'm glad I could do that for you. Smile

I prefer dogs. And to JimmyB's question (just to be fair) I'd say just about anything by The Offspring. I can't stand that band at all.

What's a random craving you get?

Haha, I have no idea why, but sometimes I get a really strong craving for Doritos. It's not like they're my favorite food or anything, not by a long shot, but sometimes they just sound soooo good!

Do you have any bad habits?

I tend to be very self-destructive and get in my own way a lot. I'm getting a lot better, though...definitely found some stable ground to stand on.

What's your drink?

Lately, it's been rum and Coke. So, so good.

Do you like poetry, and if so, who is your favorite poet?

I do indeed. Depending on my mood it's either Pablo Neruda or Sylvia Plath.

Biggest guilty pleasure (not just music, literally anything in the world)

Probably reality TV. I know most of it is stupid and a total waste of time, but I love it! Especially Big Brother, which is nothing but trash. But man, it's so addicting and it starts next week!

I do not. I do love lying down and looking up at the moon and stars, but I prefer doing it in cars or on the hoods of cars haha...I'm super Jersey that way, I guess.

I grew up going to the beach in Southern/Central CA, and I always loved it. I don't love the beach in VA so much, but when I went last week it was the best day I'd had in a long time. I love the ocean, especially if the waves are really big and crashing loudly on the shore. Virginia Beach just doesn't get waves like that, and the air doesn't smell salty enough.

(No hangover! Razz)

When I was a kid I wanted to be a teacher and a writer. I became both of those things! I am a homeschool teacher/nanny for two kids and I'm a novelist and poet working on getting published. I'm the only person I know who actually became what they wanted to be when they were little.

Do you have any tattoos?

But thats so awesome that you get to do what you love! I'll definitely buy your first published book!

Anyways, no I don't have any tattoos...yet!

I'm not sure I have a hero. There are people who inspire me, like Brian Fallon and other musicians, not to mention my mom. I don't think I have a hero, though! Maybe Gustavus Adolphus, the warrior king who made Sweden a superpower back in the 1600s, haha.
