You could always highlight and underline it. Like this.

I didn't realize that worked. You aren't able to colorize it, so I assumed all markup didn't work. Never mind then!

Thanks. I have now made links show up in light blue, but it affects all links on teh forum, including names etc. Too much? I tend to just copy URLs into the posts, rather than create links as such. Any thought on the new link look?

Funny, I tried the same thing this morning but thought it was too much already looking at the index page. So I changed it back. Unfortunately I couldn't find a solution that only shows posted links in different colour.

yes great point. I always change the color of my link to yellow or a bright color.

The light blue links look awful to me. They make the whole site look....8 bit? Does that make sense?

Okay, so it isn't the three Monsters I had, the links really are blueish

I thought they were flashing like a strobelight. The light blue is making my eyes crazy. Maybe try a shade of gray or something dark. It's the light blue coupled with the white that's making it hard to look at.

Is there any way to improve the search function on this board.

Oftentimes, I will try to find an old thread that I commented on by clicking the link to my "posts" in my profile. This doesn't bring up any posts before March of this year. Also, when I type search terms into the search box, they rarely work.

Agreed! I've had more luck searching "dimestoresaints.com (keyword)" on Google.com than this forum's search.

Same here!

the basic search is worthless. the advanced search and then "search with google" seems to work most of the time for me.

hmm I can't find anything that would make the search better...I'll do some research and see if there is anything.

I think the domain name has expired. Whenever I type it in I get sent to some Godaddy page. I can still access it through the bigforumpro link though.

Indeed it has.

dimestoresaints.com/ is giving me an expired domain warning. Whoever owns it should renew it so we don't lose it. Hope its not one of the admins who has disappeared...

yeah somehow I missed simo has posted about it. Musta put me at the first page of comments by default or something.

I just renewed it. Sorry guys, my bad. We should be good to go in a few hours/days. It all depends on how long it takes GoDaddy to get their shit together
