Yuck, that's a long time! I hate waiting around at airports. I don't mind flying, but I always want to just get it over with and get where I'm going.

I just noticed something that is disturbing me. I think from all the driving I do, my left arm has gotten slightly less pale than my right arm, and it now has way more freckles! I feel very assymetrical right now and I don't like it! Just thought I'd share that random observation with you guys...

Ahahah it's normal
Once i waited for so long outside for a concert (it was summer) that the arm that had been under the sun all the time turned red. I had a white arm and a red arm -_-

That's happened to me before too. I am so pale that when I get sunburned, it's really noticable! And one time I went to the beach and somehow only got sunscreen on part of my face, so I had bright red splotches on my cheeks for days. Nice, huh?

The freckle thing is really bothering me, because they aren't going to go away! I need to get more freckles on my right arm to even things out. My summertime goal, right there.

I am silly today.

I need happy music to wake me up and make me work. I seem to have hit a bit of a roadblock.

What kind of happy music? Like mellow happy or dance around happy?

I'm not sure. Suggestions for either would be good. I always have periods like this when I'm trying to study and can never remember what drags me out of this and gets me working again.

Hmm...Tom Petty's Damn the Torpedoes is an album that gets me energized, and any of the Rolling Stones' classics. As far as the happy mellow music goes, I like any of the Beach Boys 60s stuff and the whole American Beauty album by the Grateful Dead. That is an amazing album.

I've gone with Damn the Torpedoes for now.

That's not weird at all, Gordon, it's actually a really good thing. It means you have more respect for women than they do. And like Mike said, you must be grown up now! Try as they might, not everybody can stay a teenager forever. Most of us have to grow up at some point.

The odd thing is, it's folks the same age as me, and it's not even the usual 'slang', it's almost like advanced slang, a strange culture has sprung up out of nowhere, and I'm glad I missed it.

I mean...I just shake my head when I read something like this...

^^That's disgusting. Seriously, those dudes need to grow up. In my experience, most men stay boys at some level and never completely grow up like women do, but you have to draw the line somewhere. It's just not cool when a 30-something year old man thinks he sounds awesome and is impressing his buddies by talking like a snotty 14 year old. I hated guys who talked like that when I was a teenager, and it bothers me even more now. Maybe I'm just too sensitive, but that really makes me mad!
