Whoops, I thought you said someone came up with a new name for your band. Sorry! Is your band developing more of the sound that you want it to? Maybe more Gaslighty?

Thanks, I will! I have no plans for the next two days, other than to do nothing productive at all and try to relax. I've heard that it's possible, that people actually chill out sometimes, but it's just such a foreign concept to me. Time to take up drinking!
Just kidding! Shannon, if not for the fact that you're a lovely woman with the heart of an angel whose trust it would be exceedingly dishonorable to break, I'd totally give you some special brownies (Under the moniker normal brownies of course) and make you chill out. Haha, thanks, John! But you know what? If I ate special brownies, I would probably go on such a bad trip I would ruin it for everybody else. Remember the episode of Freaks and Geeks where Lindsay smoked weed and got really depressed and paranoid? That would be me, I just know it!
But I really appreciate the compliments. The last couple of days have been really rough, and that cheered me up a little. Yeah it's kinda weird. There are good trips and there are bad trips, mostly the former. I had some really eye-opening bad ones where I had to re-evaluate my entire existence and honestly they've been kind of an epiphany.
How about some helium? You down to do some helium? We could do silly voices. Ahahahaha! I have no desire to sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks! I don't know, I have no problem with other people doing whatever they want to, it's just not for me. A bad trip for me would be really bad, so it's not worth the risk. I tend to be paranoid and question my existence and stuff normally without being under the influence of anything. That's where my faith plays a really big part in my life. I'll be fine, I just have to work through some things. I'm in a better place than I was yesterday, it just takes time. It's been a while since I felt this broken, and I have to figure out how to pick up the pieces again.

Our singer really sounds nothing like Brian though, he would sound a bit weird trying to sing songs that sound similar to Gaslight. The songs we have now are even more pop sounding than the last ones. More memorable choruses and stuff. More repetition. That sort of stuff.

Here's Stewie the young pembroke welsh corgi for your viewing pleasure: https://imgur.com/a/FGTSk Aww, Corgis are so cute! Thanks, John. Yep, I'll be okay, I always am. I am just a very extreme person, very up or very down, and lately I've been almost level with the ground (and listening to Elsie a little too much!). I'm tough though, I'll get through it.

That's cool that the choruses are more memorable in your new songs though. Anything that will get stuck in people's heads and make them remember your band is a good thing.

I think that sounds like a good place to start, like Holland said. Just have fun with it, Jimmy. Maybe you'll get to perform some of your original songs in the future. That would be really cool.
