AHHH DEP it makes sense. Was it the original singer or Greg? The original singer is now in a band called SHAT. So that would make even more sense.
I laughed so much at this hahahahah

Dillinger Escape Plan at a festival, the crowd were chucking stuff at him, he got mad, shit in a plastic bag, and threw it into a pit. Also seen him beat people up that were spitting on him at gigs, another time seeing them support SoaD, I was doing the old fist in the air thing, he climbed onto the barrier, grabbed onto my fist, and started punching someone in crowd whilst holding onto my fist for balance...
Nice guys though, let us at their weed stash.
I was so disgusted when I read the first part of your post, but then that last line made me laugh so hard! "Nice guys though..." That's a lot of abuse to put up with just to get some weed!

Hahah Dillinger Escape Plan fucking rules. I saw them back in 2010 with a broken collarbone, hurt as hell but it was a great gig. Met the entire band afterwards, awesome guys.

It was actually both of them over different periods of time, but with Greg they are banned from Belfast, there was a mirrorball hanging from the roof, he jumped at it, and it smashed all over the crowd. Also started throwing pint glasses into the pit.
Yeah, he had to hide in the tour bus that night...

It was the same festival were Andrew WK was getting all sorts of shit throw at him, the crowd stopped suddenly throwing stuff, when he started picking the bottles up and drinking from them. I love that man. Lovely, lovely man as well.
DEP actually nicked some of SoaD's weed for us as well, but SoaD were nice enough guys as well when we met them, so I'm sure they would have give us some anyway.

You can't really see much of the stage dive but I seem to remember having to hold him up.
Check this out!

Haha, that's cool that you had a good time, even with all of the craziness! I would have been out of there so fast. I deal with other people's crap enough in my day to day life, I don't need that at concerts too!

Who puts a pop act, on a rock festival, in between Slipknot and RATM, and NOT expect a reaction like that. That was an amazing gig though.

I'll give them credit, they did their whole set, whilst anything that wasn't nailed down, was getting launched towards the stage. More punk that some of the punk bands there that weekend.

The quintessential DEP live vid Harbortown. Wish I could have been there. They are one of my favorite bands I've seen live. Haven't seen them in like 6 years though : (

05/06 would have been the Miss Machine tour. Was a great tour.
First time I saw them was the Calculating Infinity tour, really are a top notch live band, I know their shows are chaotic, a mess, and a liability, but that's what makes them so much fun.
Shame they have mellowed out a little bit, but they still bring it all.

Thats the ticket. Show was with A Life Once Lost and Genghis Tron, gah I miss Genghis Tron. They played the stone pony the night before this. Heard people say this was better. The Calculating Infinity tour had Iwrestledabearonce and I just couldn't buy tickets for it for that reason.
