Well, I think I've lurked on the forums long enough. I've hit about 25 posts, and I think that's a good enough time as any to consider myself a part of the community, for better or worse. When I first came here, it was suggested to me I check out this thread. Well, let's see what you've got, DSS.

Pearl Jam confirmed to play today. so you know it's gonna be huge.

Yeah Pearl Jam will be there. But I just thought it was odd those acts would like, make it huge, whereas I thought just PJ would on their own. Or, I'm just getting nitpicky cus BrooklynVegan annoys me sometimes.

Ever bought tickets for a gig, and the closer and closer it gets, the less and less excited you get? I've been going through that feeling for the past while about the upcoming PJ gigs, I'm just going to use it as an excuse to hang out with friends, no use looking down on the whole trip

Yes. Once I had a ticket to a gig, drove all the way to it (an hour or so away) and turned around and went home before even driving into the lot because at the last minute I realized how little I really wanted to be there. I justified it that I saved money I would have spent on parking. I've had a friend tell me the same thing, only he was already inside a show and thought "Holy crap. I need to leave."

Oh, I've done that before The way I'm looking at this trip is, the flights and hotels are booked, so look on it as a mini-break away with mates. Besides, I'm too excited for Gaslight the week or so before the PJ gigs

aww. i wish i was rich so i could fly wherever i wanted and go see Gaslight w/ some of you guys. that'd be fucking awesome.

Happened to me with muse at wembley in 2010, i love them to death but that concert sucked majorly
