She does gymnastics twice a week for a total of three hours. She loves it! She isn't quite at competition level yet, but she's on the gym's pre-team and is hoping to compete in meets in a year or so. Some of the things she does terrifies me!

Same here! I was always picked first in gym class for basketball and volleyball because I'm freakishly tall. Whatever! I did do gymnastics for a couple of years when I was little, but I wasn't any good AT ALL so it was just for fun and not for competition. I love watching it though.

Those teeth are the only thing freaky about that picture.

Haha, that was one of my problems! And I was way too tall for gymnastics anyway, even as a 6 or 7 years old.

Mine too! In high school, my best friend was only 4'9" tall, and I'm 5'11"! I think there were only two or three girls that I went to school with that were taller than me. Good thing it didn't bother me too much. I guess I just got used to it after a while, even with guys being shorter than me. Over the years I just stopped noticing as much.

For the longest time I thought I was 6 feet tall. But then I found out I'm actually 182 cm tall, which is 5.97112861 feet, or 5 feet 11 21⁄32 inches. It broke my heart.

Who cares if you're 5', 5'6", or 6'+? As long as you are confident in who you are, height shouldn't matter at all. Sure, I'd rather be (a lot) shorter, but I can't shrink overnight, so I just accept that I'm a giant.
