I was at Pittsburgh last night, which was actually my first Springsteen concert, and in fact, my first concert. After taking the T in (Almost forgot the tickets), We eventually got to Steel plaza after which I had no idea where to go. But Once again, Bruce fans live up to the legend of being some of the nicest people in the world mostly. We saw a few people wearing Bruce shirts and asked which way to go, they just said follow us to Consol. Anyway we got there about 5 minutes, and were only standing in line for about 5 minutes,Real nice security there. I bought my Shirt and Program the second I got in there, and then started heading up the steps...and another set, and another set. I eventually ended up at my seats in 222, Looking perfectly straight down over the Stage on Suzie;s side. The people who were next to me were really nice actually, and said you are in for one helluva show since I said it was my first show. Anyway, The lights went down after that, and my section exploded in cheers, the "BRRUUUUUCCCCEEE" cheers, and everything. Right from the start I thought this was going to be one good show, and I was not let down. I mean, "Don't look back", Candy's Room, The Ties That Bind, Streets of Fire, etc. The show just started Fast and powerful, and it did not let up, and the pace did not drag on at any point. I could honestly feel how much he loves his craft, and has given me a renewal of my playing guitar as well (Much like hearing Born to Run for the First time as well). I am so glad I got Pretty Flamingo, Talk To Me(I was hoping for this) and a couple others. Racing in the street was an emotional powerful experience, as was Singing Born to Run at the top of my lungs with everyone else in the arena. The place exploded when the Grusheckys came out to play with the band, and Joe did not disappoint. The whole section was enjoying Gary dancing with that girl who had the "Will you marry me Gary"sign at the end of Dancing in the dark, and the girl singing on Waiting on a Sunny day was actually not too bad vocally for being a kid. And at the point which seems like it is now a tour fixture, Tenth ave was an emotional experience with the stop at "Well the change was made uptown and the big man Joined the band", and them showing the slide show with Clarence and Danny. A couple things that will stick with me are Nils,Steve,Bruce, going to the sides of the stage Directing us in the "WOAH" during badlands, or Gary going to dance with the girl with the bass still on him. Of Course I will remember everything about the show, But those really stick out. Of Course Nils blew us away with his solo during Because the night. Overall, People have said Bruce is the best Living rockstar, and the hardest working man alive in Music, after last night, I believe it!

You will not be disappointed in the least. I am so glad that Bruce took my "first time-concert", he put on probably the greatest concert Consol energy Center has had yet!

Dunno if this has been discussed already but what are the chances of the boys supporting Bruce on his stadium tour of the UK. They will be in the UK at the exact weekend at download and arent playing any of the days he is. stadium show for them? next step up?

Incredibly slim chances I'd say. Traditionally Springsteen never has support acts - Doesn't need them and never well.

Well don't I feel silly First time I've ever seen this! Seem The Boss last summer, no support and as far as I can remember I've never heard of anyone ever supporting him. First time for everything I suppose, wonder who the special guest!

Bruce tends not to have support acts. But he does have surprise guests on occasions. I saw him in September and he brought and Tom Morello and Eddie Vedder for a few songs.

I know that, but I've never actually seen 'w/Support & Special Guests' printed on a SPringsteen ticket before. Strange.
Also Tom Morellos meant to be filling in for Miami Steve on the Australian leg of the tour!
