Just got back from his Manchester gig - incredible. Included No Surrender, Spirit in the Night, E Street Shuffle, Atlantic City, Prove It All Night (with '78 intro), Two Hearts, You Can Look..., Cadillac Ranch and Twist & Shout.
Sunderland last night was good too but tonight blew it out of the water.

Bruce was amazing what a show, great setlist with a couple of gems.
Loved the mention of Clarence in My city of ruins and the photo's of Clarence at the end.

It was an incredible show. They played four of my fave e stret band songs with No Surrender, Bobby Jean, The Promise and Thunder Road but was great to hear a few rarer ones like E Street Shuffle and Save My Love. Best gig Ive ever been to I'd say. The band has just such a great, full sound with the horns and I love the touch of soul added by the E Street choir. The Clarence photos brought tears to me eyes I gotta say.

I've seen Bruce a lot, all round Europe and in NYC too but last night was up there with the best.
I was a bit disappointed with his last two Manchester shows but yesterday everything came together perfectly - incredible setlist, Bruce was on fire and even the crowd were up for it (by our lame UK standards at least).

Not just Clarence he was referring to during MCOR - everyone forgets Danny!

Love that line.

haha yeah take your pick for US crowds... either too old, too fat, too self conscious or just simply we get enough Bruce shows it's not that a big deal like it is in Europe when Bruce comes around to a country for a couple of shows every few years.

He was kind of singing it after singing "are we missing anybody?"
He did it at Sunderland too, there's probably a video of it somewhere on youtube!

Ah, got ya! Thought you meant an official one.
I'd love him to release an Italian show but after the last few official DVDs have been from Europe I suspect he might go for a US one this time around.

Great, then we can watch the fat, middle-aged Americans dancing awkwardly and making lame attempts to have a good time with feeble fist-punching whilst those in the seats spend half the show going in and out to buy more food.
Not that I'm stereotyping at all!

Last nights Manchester show would have made a great DVD. I am hoping one is released for this tour, likely to be an American show though yes.

Oh our crowds in the UK are just as bad. Would prefer a Spanish or Italian release. The Madrid crowd in the video linked above is bonkers.
