I think I'm just burnt out from it all, I spent the 18 months before our new owners, fighting hard with many others, to get rid of the Texans and what they were doing to the club, hours and hours each day hassling people to not back Hicks and Gilette, and the treatment of my hero in regards to how they treated Rafa was one of the final straws. This season has been terrible, terrible buys, no tactics, cup wins papering over cracks. I've been branded a racist to my face ( I shit ye not) I've been told I'm not a proper fan because I questioned Dalglishs tactics. I've been mocked for fighting for justice for the 96 lost at Hillsborough, mocked over the death of 96 people... I remember when it was all about football, that memory is getting less and less  The game is corrupt from top to bottom, I don't find myself taking any joy from it. I won't even be watching on Saturday. I'm emotionally drained. That shouldn't be what supporting a team is about, when off the field over-rules what happens on the field. Don't get me wrong, I still love that team, I always want the best for them, I just don't know if I can devout all my support to them at the moment, and I've been with them through some horrible time, and they have given me the greatest nights of my life...Istanbul for one, and waking up drunk in Liverpool the morning after it for the victory parade. Sorry, didn't mean for it to turn into that long of a rant/outpouring. | |

| last day of classes today, got an a- on my big paper, i'm in line to get a great GPA this semester (one that will probably get me into the national society of collegiate scholars, which has been my big goal this semester), and i got free tickets to the giants game on thursday with a $5 food credit on it.
man oh man today is good. |
